The Loch Ness monster is a cryptid – a creature whose existence has been suggested but is not recognized by scientific concepts (“Loch”). The creature is an animal or a group of animals and most records of the creature’s appearances including verifiable accounts indicating an animal taking after or resembling the long wiped out plesiosaur (“Loch”). Although many people have theories about Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, almost all evidence shows that “Nessie” has been mistaken for various creatures that live in the Loch, a body of water in Scotland.
Described by various authors “Nessie” is a supernatural creature capable of appearing and vanishing at its own will (Newton 91). Nessie appears as a large rounded object, an overturned boat with several protruding lumps in a line anywhere from ten to forty five feet long. Although Nessie is mostly seen as a grayish color, many claim Nessie to have multiple colors such as: black, gray, brown or a sandy color. Nessie varies from long

One man name Skipper George Edwards, a tourist, had been searching for a little over twenty six years and says “Nessie” looks like a manatee but definitely not a mammal (“Mackal”). The earliest known sighting was in 565 AD; St. Columbia saved a life of a pict who was being attacked by the “monster” (“Loch”). Also an early modern sighting in 1933 of March, a man named John Mackay and his wife spotted movements in the water (Eberhart 375-376). There has also been many photographs taken of this monster, but the pictures shown are believed to be a hoax or anything other than the real monster. Actual fossil evidence for this creature shows it to have been, large with a long neck, and a very tiny head, with flippers for proportion (“Loch”). In July 1st of 2013, an Italian geologist had claimed that sightings of Nessie, in the Lochs, are simply a result of bubbles caused by geological forces
What is scaly, creepy, 50 feet long, and swims in the world's most notorious lake? If you said The Loch Ness Monster, then you’re correct! The Loch Ness Monster, mostly known as the creature Nessie, is a huge, “mythical” creature that has been scaring the people of Ireland for centuries, but this monster is actually real.
It all started in 1955 when a man who lived in the area of Loveland Ohio saw three humanoid frog-like creatures who seemed to be waving around wands that shot out bright, fiery, scolding sparks. It had webbed hands and feet, like a frog, toad, or duck. And was a couple fo feet tall, most say 3-4 feet.It had bumpy skin, and was a green chromaticity. It walked like a human with good posture, bipedally. It was said to smell like drupes from almonds, and the plant alfalfa. But yet again, in 1955 there was another report of something strangely linked to the loveland frog. Mrs.Darwin Johnson, had said that she was attacked violently under water one night, in the Ohio River near Evansville, Indiana. She

The amount of evidence supporting such a creature’s existence is astonishing. From footprint casting and fur samples to video evidence and numerous human sightings, Bigfoot’s existence cannot be doubted. There are three pieces of evidence supporting the existence of Bigfoot, the first of which is the thousands of eyewitness accounts. The first recorded sighting occurred in 1870 near a small town in California. The town newspaper, the Antioch Ledger, reported that a “gorilla man” or “wild man” had been sighted in the woods near the town.
One of the most intriguing creatures known to cryptozoologists it the Loch Ness Monster, often called Nessie. She is known to live in Loch Ness Lake in the Scottish Highlands, which is 23 miles long and almost 750 feet deep in certain parts, making it difficult to locate the monster. There are multiple theories on what N...
Over the past century and a half, the spur of Bigfoots existence has questioned many researchers and non-believers alike. Extensive research and findings have sparked many to seek out if there is another creature amongst our woods. Bigfoots existence is limited to substantial evidence such as sightings, footprints, and somatogenic traces. Ben Radford the author of “Bigfoot at 50 Evaluating a Half-Century of Bigfoot Evidence” explains effectively of the possible existence through extensive evidence and theories whether the beast actually resides among us.
My vomit clouded the ocean surface with a purple-brown color before fading below the depths. On the other side of the vessel, I re-equipped my mask and plunged into the water to be greeted by my aunt – she was to be my snorkeling partner as she had much experience in the depths of Hawaii. When I submerged my head it was almost as if I had entered a new world. This unseen dimension housed a coral reef that vibrantly shone with a mixture of bright reds and deep blues. The reef almost seemed to pulsate as thousands of fish darted in and out of their subterranean homes. The water was thick with salt and teemed with plankton. We often resurfaced to point out fish to each other. I remember my aunt telling me of the environmental dangers of touching the still-living coral. “If you pierce its skin it will likely become infected and die, and all of the fish who live in it will die too,” she expertly explained. From then on I kept my distance to at least 5-6
The Mysterious Giant Squid About 80 percent of the Earth is covered in water. With the majority of life on this planet residing in the liquid we like to call the essence of life, we as humans represent a minority on this planet. Much of the underwater world remains a mystery to us, with the giant squid being one of the greatest mysteries of them all. How close are we to actually solving the mystery of this deep water giant? For the first known citation of one of these creatures, you would have to go back to November of 1861, when crew members of the French dispatch steamer Alecton spotted what appeared to be a large sea monster off the coast of the Canary Islands.
On the way to Texas, we had to drive across the Louisiana Bridge. While we were driving across the bridge, I noticed that the bridge was standing in one huge murky muddy marsh. In the marsh were cattails. They were growing and were being used as a disguise by many of animals. I was staring at the water below us and it took me a minute but I saw an alligator in the midst of the cattails. He was long and a grayish brown. He was camouflaging himself within the cattails. It did not take long for us to pass him but I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.

The most commonly known fields are cryptozoology and parapsychology. Cryptozoology is the study of animals that are rumored to exist. These creatures are called cryptids. Bigfoot is the most notable cryptid. Many people have claimed to see Bigfoot and many television shows have searched for Bigfoot, however, no concrete evidence has been found to support that bigfoot is a real creature. Cryptozoology relies mostly on testimonials and circumstantial evidence in the form of legends and alleged sightings of mysterious beasts by indigenous peoples, explorers, and travelers. cryptozoologists spend most of their energy trying to establish the existence of creatures, rather than examining actual animals, therefore they are more akin to psi researchers than to zoologists
The study of sightings of unexplainable creatures seen by the residents of the San Luis Valley is a research of the stories of creatures people have seen which have no logical explanation now. Are these creatures, myths or something unexplainable? Are there environmental conditions to the sightings? The interviews conducted gave an insight into a complex dilemma of the sightings. Not only are the people varied, the sighted creatures are varied as well. People have often seen the same type of unexplainable creatures; however, this study has focused on the different types of creatures seen. The exploration of this sub-culture has yielded more questions than answers.
In this world, from a long time ago, monsters have appeared and presented around us in many telling story. In fact, monsters are considered as something which is abnormal, and usually accused of having the ability to threaten and destroy humanity. Perfectly, the film The Elephant Man emphasizes about John Merrick who has a disfigured appearance, and also is called a monster. Fortunately, Dr. Frederick Treves finds out about Merrick when he is wandering around the freak shows, and tries to examine and help Merrick come back to the real society. On the other hand, people have opportunities to observe and judge Merrick as a new phenomenon. In the connection to the same focus, Jeffery Cohen’s Monster Theory gives contentions about monsters and their influences to the real life and humanity in the relation to the film, especially the first thesis – Monster’s body is a cultural body, the sixth – Fear of the monster is really a kind of desire, and the seventh one – Monster stands at the threshold of becoming.
Years later however, in 1994, the photograph was reported as a fake by an art teacher named Alastair Boyd who claimed to have saw the animal himself in 1979. Boyd discovered that the picture was nothing more than a wood neck attached to a toy submarine. The Loch Ness Monster may or may not be real. No evidence has been found affirming the creatures existence, but no evidence has been found denying the animals existence either. The truth behind the Loch Ness Monster may never be known, but the legend will continue to expand so long as some still believe.
