The values that I hold dear are being a good person, persevering until you achieve success, and always being their for their family members. I believe that these values make me who I am, and without values I would not be me. I have learned what is right and wrong, good and evil from my parents; they are the ones who have taught me hard work leads to success. Not everyone has the same values; each person develops their values by learning from their environment and parents. People are able to distinguish the difference between good and evil by looking at the events that have happened in their lives. Normally, I think that being a good person is natural in society while the bad person is someone who has learn being bad. When I was a kid, I watched The Lion King that made me think about what made a person bad. This movie has received many positive reviews. This movie is one that children watch because the story is relatable in the way that life goes on. It inspires people to take pride in the life that is given to them and live it to the fullest. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what you are truly made to do. When I was younger, I did not know what I wanted to be. I was wondering why do I need to choose a career and why cannot I be on my own. Simba left his place of belonging as he thought no one needs him (Allers, Minkoff, 1994). But the truth was everyone needed him. As he was the son of Mufasa, everyone looks up to him. Sometimes people assume that I am smart because my parents are. I think everyone is unique in their own way. Also, everyone can accomplish their goals. They only have to be willing to put in the effort. Simba was afraid to go after Scar after he found out what he did to his father.
