“Things aren't ever what they seem to be when you first look at them. What's important is that you keep your mind wide open and try to understand what's going on from a lot of different angles.” – Christopher Paul Curtis. Some things in life seem deceiving and deviate one’s thinking from the truth behind them. But the main aspect to look at is who has the benefit of misleading the society and why they strive to do that. People always talk about a third party that has interest in certain events occurring and that this party is somehow responsible for what is happening. Is this really true? Are all or most of the events and happenings in our lives planned by an anonymous third party that we do not know of? That question becomes more important every day. Secret societies have been in existence for quite some time and have the highest advantage for what we know as merely mischance.
As we go on in time, the history of past times becomes more and more vague, and many researches become more and more questionable. A lot of people have been exploring and have been trying to find out what a secret society is, but only few agree on what the true meaning of it is. A secret society is an organization whose activities, events, and inner functioning are concealed from non-members, as defined by the dictionary. Secret societies are said to have existed for a long time from messages found encrypted on tablets of the Sumerian civilization back in 2500 BC. In 1500 BC, King Tuhutmus III is proved to have created a club or organization which had elite members who perform secret rituals and have secret knowledge to influence the civilization. Later on, a group of nine men gathered and established a secret group called the Knights Templar. After nine ...

...arian world-government. This idea is fulfilled by the means of creating one-world religious ethic, a centralized control of the world’s economic and monetary systems. This organization, along with others, strive to manipulate people’s minds and beliefs so that they can obliterate their sense of freedom and national identity so that they can endorse the idea of an unified worldwide government. In addition,
These secret societies strive to convey their vision of controlling the world through a lot of different signs and symbols. First of all they try to influence people through their manipulation of religion. Secret societies crave to set up a New World order with a unified church or generally an integrated religious view that is shared by each person. It is a fact that religion or beliefs are excellent ways of drawing in members and using them for their own benefit.
Another popular conspiracy theory contains the Illuminati society. The Order of the Illuminati was an Enlightenment-age secret society founded by university professor Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. The movement consisted of advocates of freethought, secularism, liberalism, republicanism, and gender equality. In 1785, the order was infiltrated, broken up and suppressed by the government agents of Charles Theodore, However, there is no evidence that the Bavarian Illuminati survived its suppression in 1785 (“History of Beliefs”, 2006).

Leaders with this attitude treat the public office and nation as personal property and deploy the state resources at their disposal for selfish use. Their behavior takes the form of frivolous “surveillances, monitoring, and other control structures founded on lies and ambiguities” (Dean and Orwell 23). The same scenario is exactly what happens in Oceania. The nation is governed by the party headed by the big brother (“Gordon State College” n.p.). He shaped the society into a pyramid, with him at the top.
The Illuminati was apparently revealed on May 1rst, 1776, in Bulgaria, by Dr. Adam Weishaupt in Masonic Lodges, or Private Lodges. In these Masonic Lodges the Illuminati, full of highly revered politicians, business men and cult leaders would gather to sort out business. Weishaupt was a professor at the Canon Law at Ingolstad...

Historians do not have access to many documents that elaborate on the Knights Templar, but what they do have access to demonstrates that the Knights Templar, were extremely influential on the Medieval Church. The Knights Templar, a fairly controversial and secretive order, has been greatly misunderstood since the order began in the Middle Ages. Despite the misunderstandings and controversy, the Knights Templar had many good accomplishments; including protecting Christian pilgrims, defending the Church from heresy and blasphemy, and helping oppressed Christians.
Despite all the people involved in the business that committed certain crimes, they also had their own opinion of deviance in their inner circle. Griselda Blanco for example, was a threat to the group, untrustworthy and psychotic to all other underground organizations. Law enforcement and media can be labeled as the social audience that involve people who accepted the mores of society and live by
Society strives to feel a sense of belonging. We want to be a part of something that shares the same beliefs as us. We spend our time trying to place ourselves in a group to satisfy these needs, whether it is in a hobby club, a group of friends, or religion. Some people go to more extreme measures and find this in what we call a cult. According to Henslin, a cult is a new or different religion whose teachings and practices put it at odds with the dominant culture and religion. (2013:405) Cults are often identified with the ideas of mass murder, deviant behaviors, unusual beliefs, and extremely devoted members. Cults are also highly known for their leaders. The leaders of cults usually are the ones that portray the image for the entire group. Successful cults take a strong-minded and, according to Max Weber, charismatic leader.
The term "mystery cults" comes from the Greek word musteria and initially only referred to the mysteries of Eleusis and signifies a secret celebration or secret worship that only initiates (mustai) who have become initiated (muein) participate in. "Originally, then, mysteries denotes a specific religious manifestation that is essentially different in character from other, official cultic functions; the mysteries are not open to everyone but require a special initiation" (Encyclopedia of Religion Vol. #10 pg. 230). Contemporary religion historians now use the terms "mystery cults" or "mysteries" to refer to secret cults or ceremonies of initiation. These ancient "secret cults" influenced the development of many religions with their sacred beliefs on the divine, the soul, transmigration and, most importantly, their stressed i...
The Templar Knights, one of the most well-known orders of all times. Created to protect the Holy Land, the Templars “the army of God” would serve and die under God. They were fierce warriors who proved themself time and time again. They have truly set forth some of the most famous conspiracy theories in history. The Knights Templars would truly live up to be one of the most honored and well-known orders in history.
The Inner Party resembled a group of aristocrats. They ruled the country and all the people in it. They made up a figurehead for themselves, Big Brother, who was almost like a god. Everyone worshiped him because they made it look like he was the one who did everything that was good. The members of the Inner Party had complete and undoubted success because they achieved and maintained their goal, which was to become the most powerful people in the country and stay that way. They did many things to achieve this, including creating an imaginary evil force, known as the Brotherhood, which planned to overthrow them. They used this “Brotherhood'; to blame all the bad things on and make Big Brother (and through him, themselves) look good by fighting against this “evil force';. The Inner Party was not happy with only physical obedience, they wanted complete obedience, including the human mind. They didn’t want people to think for themselves, because then they might plot to overthrow the Inner Party. They controlled the general populations’ minds by involving them in many verbal demonstrations, such as hate week, which downplayed the Brotherhood and made Big Brother look good. They also had telescreens in every building that allowed them to spy on the people and make sure that they didn’t do anything that might be harmful to their control. When they found someone who was a traitor, and wanted to disobey or overthrow Big Brother, they didn’t just punish them, they converted them:
The novel has several concurrent subplots interweaving the lives of different characters; eventually all the characters are brought together and the subplots resolved in the conclusion. The unraveling of the mystery requires the solution to a series of brainteasers, including anagrams and number puzzles. The ultimate solution is closely connected with the possible location of the Holy Grail and to a mysterious society called the Priory of Sion, as well as to the Knights Templar. The story also involves the Roman Catholic organization Opus Dei.
Gangs have become a harsh reality in today's society. But despite what one might think, gangs illustrate many communication theories. This is done through the power gangs possesses, "gang warfare", and the trust between gang members.
The cult sacrifices innocent people for their own self-amusement to appease Satin. Both Oceania and Matamoros attempts to create a perfect society so they can carry out their immoral plans. The totalitarian leaders try to convince the followers/citizens what they want but actually they are victims of constant surveillance, and freedoms restricted.
When people talk about the Illuminati, they are talking about the most secretive, powerful, wealthiest, influential, sneakiest, manipulated, greediest people on the earth. It was a group formed in Germany 1776 in order to rule the world with their wealth and power (“Illuminati” 1). Recently it has been on everyone’s mind, but why? It is being exposed more and more every day. They are trying to take over our nation. “The infamous Illuminati secret society has remained the focus of so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ for hundreds of years. They have been called the puppet masters who secretly pull the strings of the world’s events from elections to revolutions, and from business monopolies to stock market crashes” (Dice 1). People are completely oblivious of the Illuminati or chose to not believe this is going on behind closed doors. However, there are some people who do believe and are aware of what they are capable of. The Illuminati is harmfully corrupting our nation through the government, specialty groups, and celebrities.
