And if you want to learn how to reinvent yourself right now, you are also not alone. The truth is that the majority of us are always striving to become different, so most of us are at a point where we would like to reinvent ourselves.
Why Reinvent Yourself?
If you don 't like where you are, it 's important to reinvent yourself. If you stay the person you are and keep doing the things you do, and you are not happy, then you are going to stay unhappy until you make some changes. You may convince yourself that life is great once in a while, but more often than not you 'll be disappointed.
The fact that you have the ability to reinvent yourself is enough of a 'why ' for most people. Why should you stay the same person day in and day out for your entire life when you have the ability to make little and big changes and become someone you want to be?
Because we have the ability to reinvent ourselves, we should be able to do it as often as we want to. Yes, sometimes it will happen after our life changes in a big way, such as when we go through a breakup or divorce, or when the death of someone we love occurs. But, sometimes we want to reinvent ourselves so that we can feel like we 're living our life to its fullest instead of living a life that we are not happy

Stop telling yourself that you will do something when you have enough money or time. Those are excuses NOT to reinvent yourself into someone you want to be. We all have enough time to do what we really want to commit ourselves to doing. We find the time. And when it comes to money, you may not have enough money in the bank to become you want to become, but you can develop the resources to get enough money in the bank to become you want to become. It 's time that we ditch the mentality that we don 't have enough. Instead of making excuses, you need to start doing what you need to do to reinvent yourself into who you want to be.
Lastly, stop blaming other people, things, and everything else. You should even stop blaming yourself. For instance, if you tell yourself you would like to do something, but then blame how tired you are or how busy you are or how unprepared you are, then you are essentially blaming you for not doing what you want to do. If you think about that it is ridiculous. There 's only one of you, and you are either doing or you are not doing. So do what you need to do and you won 't feel the need to blame.
Step 2: Do More Of What The New You
In Jake Reinvented, Jake makes a great example of what can happen when you try to change for someone or something in life. When you try to cover up your past by saying you were a great football player and liked to party when in all reality you changed yourself for a girl who couldn’t even take the blame for hitting Nelson with a champagne bottle and making Jake get something that he didn’t even do is changing your world to try and impress others, when you should of just been yourself and stick with what you’re good with instead of changing, even if it means you’re mentoring students or part of the chess club or in love with dragons and dungeons, don’t change yourself to be somebody you think you can be because it isn’t worth the failure your setting yourself up for.
It was after I had lost someone in my life that was my other half. I didn’t understand who I was, what my purpose was, what made me who I am. As far as I was concerned I was reduced to nothing more than an individual that was now alone. I didn’t realize that my identity was partly crafted from simply just being by their side all the time, that whenever I was introduced to someone, or was talking to mutuals about them, I was known for being their best friend. After the fiasco that became the end of our relationship, I felt as if I was just floating through the days and nights. This feeling went on for about 2 months until I slowly came out of it. I didn’t experience a grand epiphany of any sort that inspired me to change myself. I was painting and listening to music and the thought just slowly came to me. I love to paint, and I love listening to and creating and playing music. I began to gain back my sense of identity by engaging in activities I loved. I’m a painter, a musician, a writer, a passionate lover of movies. I’ve learned that identity can isn’t set in stone, there’s always room for
Everyday people are put into several situations in which they have to conduct themselves accordingly. This may mean that they need to reinvent themselves. In many pieces of literature, characters are thrown into circumstances that require them to change who they are and how they act. In the novel The Art Of Racing In The Rain the author Garth Stein illustrates many situations where one or more characters are forced to change who they are and how they live. Yann Martel wrote, “It is circumstance that enables is to reinvent ourselves and the world around us.” Denny is put in certain circumstances in which he is forced to change his life. Buying Enzo, Eve dying and his court battle with the Twins made him reinvent himself constantly.
In conclusion, regaining and experiencing new things includes taking what you expect and putting that aside while you soak up the true environment you are in. To accomplish a sovereign state of mind, you must let those around you influence you only in a way that helps you grasp/control the situation even farther.
“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.”- Shannon L. Alder, American author. Even with all the temptation and pressure we feel just to fit in today's society, or to be normal, it's crucial that you hold on to your passions, goals, dreams, values, and to hold on to yourself. Being yourself is very hard to do especially in today’s society. Such as the short story “Initiation” by Sylvia Plath.
In life adversity plays a role in shaping an individual's identity. Overcoming adversity in life can give you new found strength and courage. Helping you become a better person later in life. It is a difficult and long process to find yourself. Erickson tells us that is is a natural stage in life to question who you are. Everyone goes through it, regardless of age, sex, race, or time. Take Chang Yu-i for example. She pulled good experiences in her life, such as having unbound feet and getting some education, and used them to help form who she was becoming But she also took the experiences she did not like, such as discontinuing her education as such a young age to get married, and accepted them as part of who she was. She grew up strong, and eventually became her own person.
Millions of people make up humanity, coloring the world with their unique personalities, and while they are sometimes labeled as eccentric or even strange, no one goes beyond the surface to see what makes them who they are. What if the people seen every day as professors, students, or geniuses, become someone else? What if their reality is no longer the one shared amongst others in the world?
After having a self-reflection of myself I realized that I wanted to be distinctive, I wanted to reconstruct the way I was living. I was tired of just the same repetitive schedule that I followed in high school. I would get up at six twenty in the morning which was the perfectly set time that I determined was necessary to complete my morning routine. I would then head to school which I went through the same repetitive schedule as the previous day. Then I would travel back home consume whatever was prepared by my mother, play some videogames for hours then tend to my my homework and finally head to bed to repeat another average day. It was until one day one of my friend invited me to go to the gym with him. He took me to the gym which was not too far away from my school and lead me to the doorway to bodybuilding. It was just after a couple of
the saying “things do not change overnight” which is why I feel my personality did not change
Within my fifteen and a half years of living, I have experienced many heart wrenching moments that have changed who I am, so many that I stopped trying to keep count long ago. Like most teenagers, the past couple of years have been some of the most confusing, hectic years of my life. I'm at that age I'm trying to figure out who I am, as well as who I want to become. As indecisive as I am, I will more than likely change my mind a time or two, but right now at this very moment, I've finally come to terms with who I really am, and what I would like to do for the rest of my life.
As we grow older, we start to construct and develop ourselves. The way we dress, talk and act in public, to what we do at home. All of this is determined by a term called identity, which helps us shape who we are as people. This is decided based on our surrounding such as family, friends, society, all the way to the internal chances, like our behavior which help shape out personality. Some people might not know who they are, they could still be finding themselves, but might not know if being themselves is something they can do. Moreover, they could be trying to fit into someone elses shoes trying to be something they are not. Which is why we try hardest to shape our identity but in the end, it is hard to find out who we are because all we want to do is just fit into what society tells us we should be.
There are many types of self that people can fit into. There is who I am (actual self), who I might become (po...
There are countless factors that influence the way people personify themselves. In the end, the forming of one’s identity is dependent on a person themselves. Things such as media, culture, and education definitely have a part in determining identity, but it is important for people to determine their own uniqueness by not conforming to everything they may see or hear from these influences. The way people decide to forge their own personalities directly affects their futures.
Ever since our minds were old enough to comprehend three syllable words, we've been told to be original. Originality by definition means the ability to think independently or creatively. Such a simple task it seems but so many of us find it extremely difficult to fulfill. Staying true to yourself and embracing your individuality isn't a task or concept all will grasp. To be yourself means to embrace and acknowledge that no one else in this universe is just like you and that conforming to their standards will have to take a backseat to your happiness. Only the strong minded can do this and this revelation won't take a day or even a year, but it will embark you on a lifelong journey.
