One of my favorite foods is Chinese food. Chinese food has to be one of the best foods that was ever created. There 's not one thing I dislike about Chinese, because it is amazingly delicious. I eat Chinese food at least 3 or 4 times a week, and I probably shouldn 't, because it 's unhealthy, but I can 't help it. Everyone always ask me do I ever get tired of eating Chinese, and the answer is always no! There’s so many choices not just fried rice, and I think that 's the main thing people think of when they think of chinese, but not me. I go to downtown Belleville Golden Dragon so much that they usually know what I 'm ordering by heart. We are full of jokes, dancers, singers, and christians. When we all together it 's always jokes being thrown and laughing into we cry. My family is not small at all, we are kind of a big family, but I’ve seen bigger families than us. Let 's start off talking about my immediate family. My one and only mother named Nataka, her name is unique but we all have unique names in my family. My birth giver is what I like to call her sometimes, but she is literally the funniest woman I know, she’s also my best friend even though she gets on my nerve everyday, but she is one of those moms that likes to get out of the house, and go have fun. She thinks she can dance and always wants to have dance battles with me out of nowhere, my friends think she is one of the coolest moms to have and of course I can agree with that. I love my mom, and she’s the best! My sister is one of the craziest girls I know. Her name is Nyosha, another unique name and she’s nineteen years old. We are two years apart, and she always likes to act like my mom. She is very talented, she has a amazing voice and she sings all day everyday from when she goes to sleep to waking up in the morning. She is also hilarious. I think we get our sense of humor from our mom. My friends always say I wish I had your sister, she’s so cool but they just don 't know how annoying she is and can get on your last nerve. We fight like cats and dogs all the time, but if anyone messed with her or me we have each others
A defining trait of every country, whether it be Italy or India, is the type of cuisine that they serve. One of the best ways to gain an understanding of a country’s culture is through their food. While some people would deem other aspects of a culture as more important, it is a feature easiest to explain and relate to. A distinguishing fact is that food is both physical and mental in that its creation takes dedication and effort; food is able to create emotions given the proper setting. As cooking traditions evolved throughout the years, to fit people’s ever changing tastes, so does the culture. They are parallel to each other in that as one aspect of culture changes, so does the food and vice versa. Two of the most popular types of foods in society today are American food, and Chinese food. The typical features of how food is prepared and made, the tastes preferred, the utensils, and the beliefs about the food's properties are all reflections of the American and Chinese cultures.

On one side, menu items of Chinese restaurants change a lot when the Chinese immigrants came to the United States. For instance, authentic Chinese restaurants does not have General Tso’s Chicken and fortune cookies. The dish of General Tso’s Chicken is originally from America. Since the General Tso’s chicken has a same name with a famous Chinese statesman in the last century. Most people think it is authentic Chinese food. But actually, it is inauthentic Chinese food. There is a joke of this disk. That is even Zongtang Zuo does not eat General Tso’s chicken because of the dish of name is from Zongtang Zuo (“The Strange Tale”). The other is fortune cookies. People do not eat fortune cookies after they finish all dishes in China because there are cultural differences. In China, the Chinese restaurants has not a traditional culture which eats fortune cookies after finish eating all dishes. Also, the cold water does not exist at the dinner table in China. Hot water is almost always served (Xiaoyu Yan). But, the cold water absolutely appeared in the Chinese restaurants in the United States. Even the authentic menu items do not include either fortune cookies or General Tso’s Chicken. On the other side, Chow Mein is a traditional Chinese food. The recipes and ingredients used at Panda Express are distinguishably noticeable and highly dissimilar from authentic Chinese meals. My family is a love I have. My immediate family consists of six people: my dad, mom, and three sisters and me. However, I love these people on a different scale than I love books. Whether it is a hand to guide, a tissue to wipe away tears, or simply a smile to make my day better I can count on people to love me and so, henceforth, I love them in return. I love my parents for many reasons. They are always there for me when I need help or am need of anything.
