Introduction:
The air pollution damages the health of Canadians, which imposes significant financial, economic, and social cost on the country’s economy and people. The terms of increased health care cost, missed day’s work, and reduced worker productivity, air pollution costs Canadians and Canadian economy billions of dollars every year. These social costs are even higher and the social cost of air pollution is not only costing health and productivity, but also the loss in social welfare due to pain, suffering, and death. For example, air pollution here in Canada is linked in varying degrees with a wide variety of health concerns including asthma and cardiovascular disease.
According to the studies from the Toronto Public Health Department

According to environment Canada in the 2009 study, Alberta’s oil sands are one of the major causes of air pollution in Canada.
2. does your community compare to others? Discuss your findings?.
Answer: what really make my community special when comparing to the other is taking action to reduce the pollution that comes from our own activities. For example, the Canadian governments, along with industry, non-government organizations, and individuals are all taking action and doing their part to minimize or reduce emissions of harmful air pollutants from human sources. This challenge is to balance the needs of Canadians for transport, energy, and goods with environmental protection goals.
Taking immediate steps to reduce air pollution and the emissions of greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide that cause climate change. This approach is very serious concrete, practical, in Canada and will mean real improvements to our climate and environment.
Here in Canada, the country is doing something about climate change will mean action, not more talk. Every major industrial sector will have to respect aggressive limits to reduce greenhouse gasses and air

This will deliver real results for the country and allows all steps that are required to reduce the Canadian’s greenhouse gasses and air pollution. This Also does that allows that the economy grows and prosper (Environment Canada, 2017).
3. Consider your own skills and interests. Think of at least two skills or interests that could be applied (if you had the time and resources) to help improve air quality in your community?
Answer 1: if I have a time and potential resources my interest would be first providing sustainable action to build a low- carbon economy and make also the world in clean electricity generation by working with the international community around the world to implement the environmental sustainability.
Answer 2: I want to minimize critical air pollution and threats to air quality, so that the world air breathe is clean and also support the global healthy ecosystems by moving forward with a brand new clean air regulatory agenda by enabling the establishment of clear international standards, this will be by moving the industry from voluntary compliance to regulations and to monitor
For the second part of my plan, I propose that we all take individual action to make the air quality better for ourselves and everyone else, like driving less and not topping off the gas tank. By encouraging local lawmakers to use the effective plans of Los Angeles and by actively taking strides in combating the battle of air pollution in our daily lives, the breaths we take can soon be of clean, ...
Pollution in Canada is not as bad as some other countries around the world, but it is becoming a more pressing issue day by day. Depending on where you live in Canada you might not see the effects of pollution as much, however pollution is all around us. From the pollution coming from our cars to the chemical valley in Sarnia, pollution is everywhere. The three main areas of pollution in canada are in the air, water and soil.

The topic of climate change and global warming has always been one of great debate and controversy; however, it’s clear to see that Canadians should take precautions to avoid the problems their country faces. The Canadian government should do everyth...
PURPOSE: To persuade my audience that we must take action now to control air pollution

... reduce natural gas consumption. Long-term I am committed to installing new energy efficient windows to truly reduce energy consumption. To help reduce the family’s water consumption we recently installed an energy efficient washing machine that uses over 60% less water than the previous model that was installed. As an additional means in which to help conserve water I will be installing a rain barrel in the summer to water our outdoor plants. While these actions might not seem significant, they can make a significant difference. According to Energy Star, a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, if every home in America replaced just one incandescent light bulb with an Energy Star qualified CFL, in just one year it would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes. That would prevent the release of greenhouse gas emissions equal to that of about 800,000 cars.
One of the most dangerous environment issues Southern California is facing today is air pollution. This includes the burning of fossil fuels and natural disasters. Los Angeles is one of the most polluted cities in the world, and the most polluted city in the United States. I will research information about the causes, the effects, and the history of air pollution in the Los Angeles. For my research, I have relied mostly on, the school’s database and library, as well as current events.
...mful diseases, cleaner environment, last but not the least, saving the planet for our future generation.
Prevent dangerous climate change by phasing out fossil fuels (oil, coal, gas) and replacing them with clean renewable energy such as solar.
Air pollution is caused by many things such as car fumes, burning of fossil fuels,
...empts at doing our part. But what is really needed is change at national and global levels. Only by convincing leaders to create laws that improve our energy policy, and pushing companies to adopt sustainable business practices on a global level, can we see real change. (EDF - Environmental Defense Fund , 2015) We need laws, polices, and infringes…..etc. whatever it takes in order to get our CO2 emissions under control. There are plenty of ways to improve on the current state of global warming like limiting global warming pollution, utilizing renewable energy, drive smarter vehicles, or even drive less. However small the action any change in our normal day to day can still help tremendously especially when done by a large number of people. We have to remember that this is the only planet we have and global warming is a global issue that needs to be taken seriously.
Air pollution has become very costly environmental problem in terms of both human lives and in terms of billions of dollars lost for health-care expenditure and crop damage.
Canada has done as much to protect the environment, as it has done to destroy it. Canada joined created several acts of legislation to protect the environment, as ...
I believe that we have several responsibilities towards future generations, including sustainable energy sources, managed resources, conservation, and to impart knowledge of environmental sustainability in a widespread way. I believe that must fulfill these obligations for the continuation of the human species survival in the future.
