In my opinion, the most important social issue today is the aging education system in America.
There are sundry issues to be concerned with in America, to include the list provided, however, I firmly believe that ensuring a solid education to the youth of this country, can build a foundation that will provide significant benefits to fighting the plights of these other issues. If the quality of the American elementary education is not updated to greet the ever changing world and the ever changing way in which we learn, a fundamental lack will begin to creep into all aspects of life. The education of individuals may well be a social change that this group would take on to ensure equality for all. The conflict theorist would have no issue with education but it would absolutely demand that all be afforded the same opportunity to access it.
The interactionist perspective is more focused on how individuals make sense of or interpret the social world in which they participate. It is literally, the study of how individuals interact within a society. The interactionist would want to understand the educational needs of each individual, and would be likely to say that we cannot generalize and assume that everyone has the same viewpoints for education. Instead they believe everyone has different attitudes, values, culture and beliefs thus the continuing education of an individual is not a decision for an entire society to make.
All of these perspectives are known as paradigms, which are models or frameworks for questions that generate and guide research. They offer a framework for interpreting the results of studies and allow a set of assumptions to be
