What is a migraine? A migraine is extreme pain in your head that can cause you to see different things. Usually migraines happen on one side of the head. Headaches are different for every person. Unwinding at the end of the day is extremely important because it is giving your brain time to shut down and forget about everything that happened during the day. When you are trying to sleep, no matter when it is during the day you need to minimize your distractions. Go to bed and do not play on your phone or read or anything like that. When you go to bed it is important to go straight to bed. Last of all with sleep, do not force yourself to sleep. Migraines may begin in your childhood and continue through your teen years. Aura may cause you to see and hear random noises. Not every person gets aura when migraines occur. Pain is probably the worst part about migraines. Every person that gets migraines pain is different. Major things to help to lighten the pain is lighten your load. Don’t do as much when you have a migraine. Take time to yourself in quiet dark places. If you can’t simply lighten your load, ask somebody to help you finish your work. If your pain is constant and nothing seems to help then you should find a good doctor to try and help with the pain.

Even though it is often difficult to make changes in lifestyle, the effort is worth it. Exchanging stress for a sense of control can lift a heavy weight from one's shoulders. It’s been hard the past two years. Headaches are not fun. A headache can be just a brain freeze that lasts a couple of minuets of a migraine that lasts a couple of hours.
