THE HAPPY TRIP’S SWEET EXPERIENCE AT THE SUGAR BEACH, SIPALAY
It’ been a while since my last visit in Sipalay. Sipalay is one city in Negros Occidental which has great beaches, nice diving spots and a good place to spend your vacation or weekend. Unlike other popular beaches in the country, the beaches in Sipalay are not yet that crowded so I can say that it is still an ideal place to spend time with friends and loved ones.
That was Saturday, 2 in the morning when we left Bacolod City for Sipalay. We decided to just commute so we took the Ceres Bus which brought us straight to Sipalay City. The travel time was around a little less than 5 hours.

She offered a tricycle to bring us to our destination.Actually , we haven’t been to the sugar beach yet because we are used to visit the Punta Ballo Beach in Sipalay. To cut the long story short, we hop in the tricycle without even asking how much was the price for the ride (maybe we were sleepy yet). The tricycle brought us to a place where we need to ride motorized boat to bring us to the Sugar Beach. The tricycle asks PHP 300 and the motorized boat asked for another PHP 300.00. We thought all the while that this was really the usual route only to find out that we can even go straight to the resort from the city proper using a motorized boat for only PHP 300.00 ----Oh, If we only asked! Anyway, at least we were able to share our blessings on that day. Anyway, please read “ How to get there” at the bottom of this …show more content…

ARRIVAL AT THE SUGAR BEACH
After the smooth boat ride, we finally got to see the beach for all its beauty. The sun was perfect and as expected, it was practically quiet. For the entire stretch of beach, there were only a few people swimming .

OUR STAY AT SULU SUNSET RESORT
The check-in at the Sulu Sunset resort is supposed to be 12 noon time, but since the room is not occupied they just allowed us to put our things inside our nipa huts . While waiting for our rooms, we decided to just stay at the main pavilion of the resort to have our
The smell of the restaurants faded and the new, refreshing aroma of the sea salt in the air took over. The sun’s warmth on my skin and the constant breeze was a familiar feeling that I loved every single time we came to the beach. I remember the first time we came to the beach. I was only nine years old. The white sand amazed me because it looked like a wavy blanket of snow, but was misleading because it was scorching hot. The water shone green like an emerald, it was content. By this I mean that the waves were weak enough to stand through as they rushed over me. There was no sense of fear of being drug out to sea like a shipwrecked sailor. Knowing all this now I knew exactly how to approach the beach. Wear my sandals as long as I could and lay spread out my towel without hesitation. Then I’d jump in the water to coat myself in a moist protective layer before returning to my now slightly less hot towel. In the water it was a completely different world. While trying to avoid the occasional passing jellyfish, it was an experience of
We eventually make it to the beach and it was beautiful out! The first step onto the sand burns our feet and we all race to the water. The wind floats through our hair and the water splashes on our feet. Everybody sets up their chairs and plops down to just relax and look at the stunning ocean, when it starts raining cats and dogs.
People rode on top of inflatable beach toys, rubber rafts and even air mattresses. They swam through the rising waters to safety. Others simply waded through the water on foot. They filled plastic trash bags with their belongings to keep them dry.
As I walk towards the ocean with the sand warm beneath my feet, the waves lap at my ankles, seeming as if they want to pull me out to sea. The sun rises over the horizon, reflecting off the waves and shimmering like gold. The salt air smells tangy as it stings my nose with the smell I crave while I am away from the ocean. The Outer Banks in North Carolina has been my favorite place to go from my first memories. I look forward to going there every summer because there at the ocean I feel at home. It is a place where I can forget every stress in my life and be totally at peace. It is a place where my family can spend time together, not like at home where we all have activities and places to be. The Outer Banks is not a beach where the ocean is forgotten; there is no partying and no boardwalks, nothing but nature to fill your days there. The beach is not crowded to the point where it is hard to even walk to the beach ,and looking for shells is not even an option. This beach is a very peaceful and surreal place. The noises of people do not overwhelm you at this beach; all you can hear are the sea gulls and the waves.
We got there right after the sun’s peak time ended, so around 3pm, and my breath was taken away by it’s beauty. The sand is so soft, it feels like a fuzzy blanket on a cold fall day. When I walked on the beach I could faintly smell the of salt. As I would walk into the water, I could feel my skin tighten as the salt water would touch my skin. Then, as I got out of the water, I could taste the salt lingering on my lips.
The tour operator or guide will arrive at your hotel to fetch you. The person's arrival time is set according to the time required to reach the boarding point from the pickup spot. Depending on who is providing the dhow cruise, you will start for the boarding station in a limo or air-conditioned car. On the way, you can peep through the window at the buildings and apartments and enjoy a visual feast. Looking out of the window at the gorgeous vista of the city's skyline is the best part of the journey.
It took little time to go there (the nearest beach is just in front of the hotel). We then ran to the beach passing through all the people that was already there. As we were getting closer to a vacant tend, we could smell the characteristic essence of beach (which is mainly because of the salty water). We contemplated the beautiful picture of the boats and windsurfers, with a big blue ocean in the background. Then we started eating some potatoes we had bought at the minimarket, which was located next to our hotel. We had also bought some sodas, which we drunk while we feed the seagulls near to us. After a long day having fun at the beach, we observed the beautiful sunset at 6pm. And finally, decided to come back to our
This is truly the definition of living in paradise. Furthermore, located just steps away from America’s number one beach is Siesta Key. At the end of a trail of trees, a wooden bird walk trail meets the sparkling private beach open only for Siesta Cove residents. The first thing that hits you is the tangy odor of the salty water of the Gulf of Mexico. The cool sand beneath your toes conveys a massage of relaxation and peace. The soft ocean breeze grasps your body, running its smooth fingers along your spine. The howling wind whistles through the beach like an arriving train. At the end of each day a mesmerizing sunset awaits you with a palette of vibrant colors of a rainbow reflecting off the gulf and merge into each other. It truly is heaven on earth. Lastly, Siesta Cove is filled with many onsite amenities. This includes a conveniently located clubhouse with elegant red walls and comfortably placed chestnut brown tables. Various works of art hang on the wall. Welcomed by the warm stream from the hot coffee brings a rich
The ocean reflected the sun high in the sky while its waves tried to cover the sandbar. The nearest island was a small smudge on the horizon. The sandbar was only 10 yards long and width wasn’t very long but it was perfect for snorkeling. The water around the sandbar slowly got deeper until there was a huge drop-off with a reef below.
Ever since Sunset Beach has been officially opened to the public, there has been a drastic increase of tourists present. Television programs concluded that at least a thousand people visit the beach everyday. Reasons for their stay are that they feel comfortable with the environment that surrounds the beach front, people who are at the beach are joyous and numerous activities to enjoy, and the fresh scent of the sparkly waters, make the visitors feel calm and pleasurable. So I decided to take a trip there.
Asia was awesome! Everything, from the food I ate to the people I met, gave me a new perspective on life. I still cannot get over the fact that I have traveled to the other side of the world. This school program gave me many memorable experiences, allowed me to learn a lot about the culture of Asia, and introduced me to friends that I'll treasure for a life time. I knew that there was a reason I got to go, and while I was there I tried to make the most of such an opportunity.
I use any excuse to walk along the ocean, especially alone and without my phone. The wind blew cold air, but the sun’s warm rays kept my body at a perfect temperature. It was three in the afternoon and I was calm.
It was the night of prom and everyone was getting in their limos to leave. Normally everyone takes a trip to wildwood for a couple nights after, fortunately, my friends and I had saved up money to travel somewhere exotic. It wasn’t until recently when we decided to go to Aruba.
...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
My most memorable trip was the day I went to the Children 's Memorial Hospital to meet my baby brother. Meeting my brother was an indelible moment because I had never felt such happiness and love for someone. On our way there, I also got to create a bond with both my parents and learn how to be a better happier person. At the time I was sixteen years old and was going through a stage where I felt depressed and that’s why the day I arrived at the hospital to meet my brother I felt this warmth in my heart that made me feel happy again.
