It was the 5th of January 2004 when the Jackson family decides to go out for a drive and during that drive, the sadness stems from a tragic car accident, which involved a head-on collision with another car killing Brandon’s and Bianca parents. While the family was on their drive, they were happily singing along with the radio and did not notice that another car suddenly swerved and crashed head-on into their vehicle, which made their car spin several times. As the car turns, Brandon and Bianca thought the vehicle would never stop, but eventually, it did. When the car finally stopped, Brandon heard his sister crying, and crawled his way over to her to see if she was OK. Once Brandon arrived at his sister side, he saw that she was in a state of shock of looking at both of their parents badly injured. Their parents were unconscious and faced cover in blood. While waiting for the mobile medic team, Brandon tried his best to help his parents out of the crashed vehicle. When the emergency services arrived on the scene, the team cut both bodies out, tried resuscitating the children parent...
...ased the brakes until coming to a complete stop. Juan and Glenn, knowing where they were going, went to the door leaving the dad alone to get the money. Upon entering the cabin, Juan asked him for the money. He replied quickly that first he needs to see his daughter. The children came out. There was a sudden movement by Glenn which attracted the attention on him long enough for Marianne’s father to pull out the pistol. He pistol whipped Juan and held the gun towards Rita. Rita suddenly started screaming in Spanish asking where Buck was. They told her he was dead and ordered her to put her hands above her head. He handed the gun to Glenn motioning him to stay here and watch the two as he went for the cops and took the others.
After a basketball game, four kids, Andrew Jackson, Tyrone Mills, Robert Washington and B.J. Carson, celebrate a win by going out drinking and driving. Andrew lost control of his car and crashed into a retaining wall on I-75. Andy, Tyrone, and B.J. escaped from the four-door Chevy right after the accident. Teen basketball star and Hazelwood high team captain was sitting in the passenger's side with his feet on the dashboard. When the crash happened, his feet went through the windshield and he was unable to escape. The gas tank then exploded and burned Robbie to death while the three unharmed kids tried to save him.
Joel confusedly looks around and behind him he sees a scared Sarah shaking him awake, Tommy just outside of the truck, and directly in front of him, he sees a family being attacked by somebody infected, which jolts him awake and back into reality. With the car now being sideways after the crash, in order to get out, Joel uses all his strength and starts to kick the windshield in front of him until it shatters. Joel carefully crawls out then reaches in for Sarah, avoiding the shards of glass on the ground and still bordering the windshield. Just as she starts to climb out and stand up, she falls over and complains that her leg hurts. A noticeably worried Joel grabs his revolver from his jean pocket then hands it over to Tommy and demands he protect them. Joel picks Sarah up and with her in his arms, they begin running for safety. As Joel sprints through the streets with Sarah in his arms and Tommy just a few feet in front of them, chaos erupts everywhere. In any given direction, there are either citizens or infected individuals dashing through the streets, with dozens of people being attacked along the way. In addition, there are explosions and many cars accidents with one car even driving straight into a gas station, causing it to blow up. Sarah at one point looks at the gas station then alarmingly utters, “those people are on fire,” to which Joel tells her not to look, prompting her to close her eyes and
Her eyes were heavy, her body weak. As she crawled into the bathroom two feet away, Abby felt her body slowly succumbing to the numbness. All of her pain would be gone in less than 10 minutes, so why would she want to turn back? What about the senior trip Abby had planned with her best friend? What about the chair at the dinner table that would now be vacant? A couple of hours later Abby’s family came home from her little sister’s soccer game. Little did they know what they would find as they approached the top of the stairs. Her little sister, Ali, stood still as she looked down at her feet. There on the cold floor lay her big sister, her role model, and her super hero. Ali was crushed when she saw the pill bottle in her hand and the pale color of her skin. Her mom fell to her knees screaming and crying, wondering where she
The T.V. starts flashing, a red banner with the word ‘urgent’, a woman's voice starts talking. “This is a PSA for the town of Lassellsville and surrounding areas. There is said to be a strange man on a rampage running through the town, he is believed to be infected with a new virus called H1N1, please stay inside for your safety, we will keep you updated as much as possible. Police are on the lookout for Juan Carlos Jr.,” a picture of a Hispanic man with red eyes, dark brown hair, and missing teeth popped up on the t.v. “please if you see this man refrain from contact, he is dangerous, I repeat he is dangerous.” Everyone looked at each other, “oh god” John said. “Lock the doors,” Katherine said. So they locked the doors and kept the news on to keep updated. A few hours past and the fear subsided and so did any buzz they had gotten. The news comes back on and they still hadn't found the guy when all of a sudden the tv went off and so did the lights. It was totally dark. “Friggin Christ, you gotta be kidding me” Jacob uttered. “I got this. the generator is right outside”, Gabriella said and started towards the door, there came a knock. Everyone froze. Terror filled the
In fall 2008 Ryan Didone was with four of his friends, when he hit a tree with his car. He died at the hospital as 15 years old. Captain Thomas Didone works at the police department, and he is Ryan’s father. He never thought he was those parents who would get a phone call like that. If it could happen to him, it could happen to anyone. Ryan’s father was with his son, the day he was born, and he unfortunately had to be with his son, the day he died, and he never wishes that to any parents. It was an inexperienced, and immature driver and to high speed at night with some other kids. He was going too fast. Ryan gave serious trauma for the rest of the community.
When I look over my “ The Loss Of My Sister’ essay I wrote it makes me proud of myself to know I was that strong to write about such a close topic to me and my family. I always wanted to write the story of my sister but I never had an opportunity to. I always kept quite about the situation I went through because I did not want the sorrow and pity from others. When ever I did tell someone that I have a dead sister, they would respond “ I don’t know what to say other than I'm sorry” it makes me feel awkward because I don’t know if I say thank you or it’s okay? Since I wrote about what happened I decided I’d write about how it is now without her.
Disappointment, disbelief and fear filled my mind as I lye on my side, sandwiched between the cold, soft dirt and the hot, slick metal of the car. The weight of the car pressed down on the lower half of my body with monster force. It did not hurt, my body was numb. All I could feel was the car hood's mass stamping my body father and farther into the ground. My lungs felt pinched shut and air would neither enter nor escape them. My mind was buzzing. What had just happened? In the distance, on that cursed road, I saw cars driving by completely unaware of what happened, how I felt. I tried to yell but my voice was unheard. All I could do was wait. Wait for someone to help me or wait to die.
...d shots and Alan’s hand had gotten hit. The boys were back inside and the police called and told them that Doctor Curt had arrived. Doctor Curt spoke to the boys and told them that the first shot had been an accident; and that he had read the paper and it looked fine, so they could come out. The kids all walked out, they dropped their guns and were handcuffed, except for Zach who went to his mother and got his medication.
She said that he had had a stroke the night before. He died in the
My eyes were deteriorating fast since I started using Tumblr. Driving to school past the park I came to terms it was autumn my favourite season: Trees almost naked with every branch bare, hearing the sound of rustling when people stomping through a crowd of crunchy leaves, though when the wind breathes it accelerates a leafy tornado swirling in a circular motion, smelling a fresh batch of rain from minutes ago and seeing the glistening as the biggest star made I admired. I use to walk to school every morning before my mum left us. Dropping Kaylee off at school I took a right turn where Jessica insisted to meet by the cascade fountain. I parked and by squinting my eyes I could already see she was dressed impressively kooky today. A jacket duplicating the print of a burgundy floral couch, vintage purple satin blouse with J’s scattered all over in different colours, an eagle bolo tie, the stripy snazzy saffron skirt, suede slip on shoes and to compliment her rouge knitting glasses someone had gifted. She ran to me.
...cy’s life on that fateful night. The man told me something along the lines of “Had we not stopped, Stacy would have lain on the ground for about 5 minutes, woken up, walked back home to Justin, and been beaten even more” Then he told me something that took me a moment to comprehend. “Stacy is pregnant and had been basically drinking herself and the baby to death. Although there is a bright side, Stacy sobered up and confessed to Justin’s abuse and now has a recovery plan and wants to start up a new life.”
February twenty-third 2010 was just a regular ordinary day. I was on my way to class on this cold February afternoon, when my phone rung. It was my cousin on the other end telling me to call my mom. I could not figure out what was wrong, so I quickly said okay and I hung up and called my mom. When my mom answered the phone I told her the message but I said I do not know what is wrong. My mom was at work and could not call right away, so I took the effort to call my cousin back to see what was going on. She told me that our uncle was in the hospital and that it did not look good. Starting to tear up I pull over in a fast food restaurant parking lot to listen to more to what my cousin had to say. She then tells me to tell my mom to get to the hospital as quickly as possible as if it may be the last time to see her older brother. My mom finally calls me back and when I tell her the news, she quickly leaves work. That after-noon I lost my Uncle.
Last year I got involved in a massive car accident. It was the most terrified part of life. It was the moment. I will never forget in my whole life. Before, I never realized how people really feel when a car accident happens. But,after this car accident I know what really it felt like. It was the moment. My mind was totally feared of driving. I was crushed by the hot metal and cold dirt of car. I was not feeling my arm,my body was numbed. It was felt like my lower body pressed down with monster force. All I could feel was the noise of car accident ringing in my ear.I was barely able to move my body. I was kept thinking. What my parents going to think about this? Where is my friend John? I looked through the window and saw the cars passing by
