“YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES REMAINING!”
The test proctor signaled that the test would soon be concluded.
“Sorry, excuse me.” After a loud hacking cough that I acted out I apologize to everyone.
“SHUT UP!” I looked up and the test proctor was glaring at me.
I heard snickering behind me.
“I think you need to get that cough checked out.” Snickering even more. The boy behind me was bothering me throughout the whole test.
I hit his desk and told him harshly “Shut up and just write the answer down.”
“Calm down, I’m just trying to have some fun.”
“There’s no time fo-”
“TIMES UP! PUT YOUR WRITING UTENSILS DOWN OR TAKE THE RISK OF GETTING YOUR TEST VOIDED”
The proctor was so obnoxious the whole test. He kicked a student out because he said “bless

I’m hungry let’s go and get something to eat.” Before Ben was done with the sentence he was sprinting down the hall.
“I swear…” Emily said as shaking her head in disapproval “That boy is such an idiot.”
“But Ellie, you use to like Ben”.
“What? Did you actually believe those rumors?” She asked incredulously.
“Well we should catch up wi-” A loud noise interrupted me as I was speaking.
Ben came back, running down the hall screaming and laughing. “You’ll have to catch me for it fattie!”
“IF YOU DON’T GIVE ME BACK MY LUNCH I’LL KILL YOU.” It was at the test proctor chasing Ben down the hall furiously.
“So immature. I’ll be heading home now”
“Wait Ellie.” Emily grabbed Ellie’s wrist. “Just come to the diner with us.”
“OOF!” The proctor tackled Ben and took his lunch back. “EXPECT A SUSPENSION AND A CALL YOU TO HOUSE! Hmphf.” The proctor walked away panting
Great events, whether they are beneficial or tragic ones, bring change in a person. These scenarios can give one an entirely new perspective on life, and turn around his way of thinking. Events such as the Salem Witch Trials show the people involved what they could not see before. In Arthur Miller's The Crucible, Elizabeth Proctor, Reverend Hale, and John Proctor gain valuable insight into themselves, as well as others.
The Proctors start sticking up for each other. Toward the middle of Act II, the Proctors get a visit from Hale who
Rubbing his belly Joey expressed, "I haven 't had my mother 's mashed potato recipe in weeks. Let 's have the dinner tonight!"
“Well, all the plays that I was trying to write were plays that would grab an audience by the throat and not release them, rather than presenting an emotion which you could observe and walk away from.” by Arthur Miller. All great works provide a way to reach in and grab the audience through the reoccurring themes like, greed, jealousy, reputation and hypocrisy. Arthur Miller had one of those great works and it was called “The Crucible”. The play was based off of the witch trials that happened in Salem in the year of 1962. Some of the characters were actual characters involved in the witch trials. Arthur Miller wrote this play during the time of the “Red Scare”. Miller wrote The Crucible because he wanted to turn the The Salem Witch Trials into
Now everything has been done to these tests in attempt to make them more tolerable; they’ve been taken, skipped, enforced, cheated on, changed, taught, even puked on enough that there is now a procedure in almost every test administrator’s instruction manual on what to do if a student were to puke on his or her
“Ha-ha-ha, very funny,” Ben quickly tired to think of something clever to say back but just ended up blushing instead.
Lennie freaks out and gets mad. Crooks sees Lennie towering over him and retracts his comment. Lennie calms down. Phew. That was close.
The test was early on a Saturday morning. I remember eating an early breakfast and then packing my bag for the test. Everything about the day was going to be unfamiliar, from the location to the fact that the test was timed. I didn’t even own a school backpack yet, having never needed one before, so I packed my number 2 pencils, erasers, calculator and water bottle in an another bag instead. I walked into an unfamiliar high school and having no experience finding my way through the maze of hallways, followed signs until I found my way to the classroom in which the testing would take place. Before this moment I had never had to sit at a desk before. The straight lines of desks were so orderly and there was a proper classroom feeling that I had never experienced before in my home. I remember sitting there with my stomach in knots; standardized testing is anxiety inducing for almost any student, and I had the usual test-taking nerves combined with the unfamiliarity of a new
“You have to watch out, man. So, where’s my lunch?” Tyrone asked with a grin on his face when he was hit by a BLT sandwich, “Hey! What was that for?”
"Wake up call," I could hear Coach on the other end of the line. "Wake everyone else up in the room and the bus will leave at seven."
Adam then said in a freaked out voice, "how are we gonna get out of here". Adam looked like he was having a panic attack.
I said "No I have homework to do and anyways I have better things to do then kill off my brain cells."
I waited and waited...but they did not call my name. I was confused; it must have been a mistake. I got my test back after a few moments, and I just sat there.
I don’t remember the details of what happened afterward, but somehow school concluded that my action was not intentional thus should not be penalized, with the advise of not repeating the same mistake. I supposed it’s good for me, otherwise I don’t know how miserable I would be for the rest of my elementary school career. More importantly, I learned that even though my intention was different, what people saw from my action indicated otherwise. The assumption people made could have resulted a very different interpretation from my intention. After the incident I became more careful in what I do and say - I didn’t want to deliver wrong messages. I thought it would be good for me and everyone around me.
“What did you find, Mommy? Is it food?” Emily came running down from the pier to see my finding.
