Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s most well-known plays, revolves around two “star-crossed lovers” that reflect each others emotion through the roller coaster of events they endeavor together. This play is an astounding and indulging experience that shows the true potency of love at first sight. Although the couple may be overly dramatic with their emotional changes, it highlights the power of love that Shakespeare wants to portray. They even go to the extent of saying that they would take death than the position that they are put in, to show how they will not be able to live without each other. It all starts in Verona, Italy sometime in the 16th century with two families with an old grudge and from each family a child that falls in love with the other. Unfortunately for them they run into issues as with rivaling families, their relationship poses an issue and the people involved keep it secret. Romeo and Juliet share similar emotions through the first encounter, banishment of Romeo, and final moments together showing everyone how true love can affect young lovers in such drastic ways.
True love at first sight is the basis of Romeo and Juliet as the two claim to be in love when they meet, the night of the party. As the couple express their emotions openly in the book, they both hurl out their emotions about each other. Believing in true love, they are both sure of what now seemed like a fact, that they were meant to be together forever. Romeo had just been wooing another damsel, but realized that he wasn’t making any progress in their “relationship” and Juliet was depressed thinking that her world was over. He walks around with Benvolio and bumps into a man who claims to be illiterate, but has to find and invite everyone ...

...ng a life without each other and with that the conclude the book and end their family quarrels. A poignant ending for the young couple, but one that seemed fitting for their personalities. Through this we see the extent of the influence that their love had on couple as they follow each other to their deaths, refusing to live without each other.
In conclusion, the couple reflects each others emotion through the crucial moments of the play, showing us the extensive effect of love on the young couple. Through what seemed to an insuperable odyssey the star-crossed lovers stay true to each other till the very denouement of the play. In a voluminous play we were shown that even two young people can have an affiliation to the other, to the extremity where they die, instead of turning on their own words. Shakespeare showed us the potential of true love at first sight.
