WHAT HAS BEEN REVEALED TO ME AT THIS TIME:
(Some may not read this or all way through, but those who truly want a change within them will read it all)
What I've felt in my spirit is that this is the time of getting intimate with God, meaning getting into and staying a little longer in prayer with God getting closer, yielding ourselves more to Him and the Holy Ghost now more than ever!
Building up our most holy faith praying in tongues, so God can advance us in the Knowledge, Wisdom,
Understanding, Faith, and Revelation knowledge within our spirit-man. The Lord has been revealing this to me for this time we're in right now. If His, Pastors, Ministers, Prophets, Apostles, and Lay People will draw themselves aside more in Prayer

God is calling His people back to prayer and more of it, spending more time with Him.
He has a lot to say to us.
He's bringing us back to the "Threshing Floor," ......
I believe that's why we've went through so much.
Achieving the spiritual maturity God requires can often mean that we go through various tests and trials.
He led the children of Israel 40 yrs. in the wilderness to humble them and test them to know what was in their hearts and so they could see what was in it too.
David was another that God got ready,... spiritually speaking
He put David on the Threshing Floor and David was a "man after God's own heart."
David was prophesied to be King over Israel but he had to undergo an extended period of threshing and testing before the time would come for David to become King.
Always remember whatever you are going through "NOW" is "PREPARING" YOU for a GREATER "PURPOSE!!

Some of you may be on the "threshing floor" now, may be it's a job loss, a relationship, a husband/wife, financial, health, but get before God in prayer make it routine.
Each believer will be threshed to separate the spiritual from the carnal. The Worldly mind has focused on the physical World and their fleshly life and is carnal. '
Their emotions with love for themselves and love of things of the World, are carnal.
But after being reconciled to God our hearts that once were hardened towards God is now soft and able to be changed to love God and put Him first.
"Threshing" is an ancient process used to separate grain from the straw part of the plant. The process was usually performed on a threshing floor which was out in the open usually on top of a hill.
This was important so that the "wind" would assist in the separation process(threshing is removing the kernel of grain from its stalk).
After the threshing was completed, the threshed grain was thrown into the air usually with a winnowing fan( a tool for tossing the grain into the wind) to enable the wind to blow away the chaff and allow the valuable grain to fall separately to the threshing
The Seed plow is a very interesting artifact. In Mesopotamia they trained animals to pull the plow. They preferably liked to use Ox, Cow, Horse or Donkey to pull the plow because they were big and strong. The animal is hooked in front of the plow pulling, and the farmer is behind the plow pushing it into the ground. Since the plow is going into the ground, it makes rows in the soil. The seed plow is made for the seed that is in the plow drops into the row that it has made to plant the crops. Now all the farmer has to do is cover the seeds up and maintain his/her farm . ...t his punishments. He knows that in order to be respected, He must follow His words and teach lessons. God develops David into a better ruler, a better man and a better example through punishment and forgiveness.
David’s love for God never wavered and was always spiritual and always praised the Lord. He was committed to God. Even when no one else knows if you are faithful, God knows. God has a plan for all of us, and we just have to be patient. David was anointed by God.
Then one day when he was twenty, he suddenly felt that he had the wrath of God on him. He realized that his sin was not forgiven, he was just doing good works and religious things to make up the difference. Even though he realized this, he still thought that his good works would still account for his good. He prayed and prayed but could not get anywhere. He even set a time to fast, but still God did not seem to work. All the while God was softening David's heart, David was having a problem with self-confidence. He was confident that the works and the religious things which he did were going to help him.5
To begin our study and understanding of old testament it makes sense to start from the earliest time. King David is responsible for bringing together Israel into one nation. The idea that David is a prophet is debated among scholars and is something worth looking into, since these are decisions we must make regarding the Old Testament. Some believe that Psalms 22 is an accurate account of the crucifixion of Jesus; others find that there are large discrepancies within the passage and claim that the metaphors in the passage are taken too literally. As students of the Bible knowing the history of these works can help us better form our own opinion on such topics. We will find that this will be a common argument within the bible, whither to take it literally or metaphorically.
E.M. Bounds wrote a wonderful book devoted to prayer entitled Power Through Prayer. This book encourages the preacher to become a true prayer warrior. E.M. Bounds has written many books on prayer, encouraging Christians to devote their life to prayer. Since the writer is coming from a preacher background himself, one can clearly see the passion he has for prayer in his life. Fellow preachers will hopefully be encouraged by this and want to devote their life to prayer, so that they will better their preaching. Bounds exemplifies through his work that preaching has no power without prayer. He also sets forth the idea that prayer is the life-giving force behind our work for God. In reading this book, it inspires one to pray more and be able to be more effective in their ministry.
As we examine the heroes of the faith outlined for us in the Old Testament, we would be hard pressed to find a more faithful man that King David. After the death of King Saul, David became the King of the Hebrew people. David, who was meek and pious, steadfastly believed in the true God and tried to do His will. He had endured much persecution from Saul and other enemies but did not become bitter, did not lift his hand against Saul, as he was the Lord’s anointed, but placed all his hope in God, and the Lord delivered him from all his enemies.
The first lesson to learn from David is that the Lord calls whom He will call. This means that the Lord can make who he wants into his instrument. It is up to us to be willing to accept that call and act as God wants us to. David shows this lesson by being willing to fight on the behalf of God. The second lesson is that right is better than it might.
The story of David shows people that when they use the things that God places in their life, He is preparing people for their service to Him. He prayed to God, consulted God in prayer, and unified the northern and southern kingdoms in obedience to God. He was obedient, wise, and just (1 Kings 4:29-34). He is credited with building the great temple of worship to God (1 Kings 6:2).
As we search the word of God with passion and earnestly, the Holy Spirit will illuminate us, so we can grasp his will in our life “until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:13).
I’d like to state the most obvious observation that I’ve made about spiritual formation; that is that I will always need to be seeking for ways to nurture my personal spirituality throughout my life. I know that to most people this may sound like a “duh” statement, but for me it has truly become a reality and one that I must admit I have been struggling to embrace. I was brought up in a church that, like most traditional churches, stayed happy living in the “comfort zone” of their Christianity. They took everything that the Bible said at face value without digging in to find out why they believed what they believed. I had never been challenged to look deeper into the text. In the past few years I have felt the need to tunnel out of this cave of what I feel is best labeled “Christian ignorance”. In the process though, I have had to come to terms with letting go of the things that brought me comfort and provided me with what I thought it took to have a close relationship with God. Some of those things were tangible. Most were not. The things that were the least tangible actually ended up being the hardest to let go of.
At one point or another in one’s life you are faced with God, eye to eye and you know it. You can feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, like a humming sound that’s too low to hear, but it’s there and you can feel it, a feeling that you are not alone. For some, this feeling lasts for eternity, and for others God works within them again and again because the Lord’s love is persistent. The feeling I had came and went, for it was not strong enough as a child. But now, I am the strongest I have ever been.
I have been a Christian for 27 years and I am so thankful to Christ for his salvation and forgiveness. I know that reading and meditating on God’s word is a vital component to spirituality, and I am currently reading through the book of Joshua, prayerfully asking God to apply His word to my day to day life and show me where I need to change, and to empower me with His Spirit to live courageously and victoriously. Marne, my heart is very sensitive toward the things of God, and I have a burning fire within to “live for him” and to “live like him” in this world. Additionally, prayer is very important to me, and I pray regularly for my loved one’s, guidance, wisdom, a humble heart, forgiveness and so many other things, while I rejoice in my heart
This is a form of rotational grazing. It is considered the best method of grazing. It involves the farmer dividing grazing areas into 20-25 paddocks. The paddocks depend on the size of our herd. Every day cows will graze one paddock. This method is based on the idea that each tiller has three actively growing leaves at an...
Today's Gospel reading shows us that the Lord is with us through times of trial… or when the storms of life get to be too much to handle. Whether He calms the storm as he did for the disciples, or asks us to let him walk through the storm with us, as Paul talks of in 2 Corinthians, or gives us the strength to fight against it, as He did for David while up against Goliath; he is always with us. He does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.
