For almost 100 years the Better Business Bureau has offered many different Services and Programs that are essential to control a trustworthy relationship between a business and the customer. The BBB is offered in 50 States and 12 provinces, and was founded in 1912. The BBB currently has a total of 400,000 North American businesses that are accredited by the BBB. The BBB is a non-profit organization that focuses mainly on advancing marketplace trust. There are 128 independently incorporated local BBB organizations in the Canada and the US, coordinated under the Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) which is situated in Washington D.C.
The role of the BBB is to help resolve customer’s complaints. Customers must attempt to resolve their situation independently before they involve the BBB. Once the BBB is involved, they use a 3 step communication technique. The first is conciliation; The better business Bureau sends out a copy of the complaint to the company for review and a reply. After a 3 week deadline, the BBB awaits reply to see if the situation has been resolved. The second step is Mediation; This step offers help and guidance in resolving a mutual resolution for both the customer and the business. The third is Arbitration; This is an informal process where both parties must agree to a binding decision. The arbitrator will allow each party to present their respective sides and introduce relevant evidence. The BBB has a 70% success rate for solving customer complaints.
The BBB has numerous functions, but the main objective of the BBB is to connect buyers and sellers with marketplace trust. The BBB has its own set of Accreditation Standards and Standards of Trust that each business must meet. Not all businesses are eligibl...

...ery beneficial for both, customers and businesses. I think having the “News Centre” helps out a lot of people by posting alerts on the recent scams taking place in Canada and the US. The alerts will help lower the amount of identity theft that is happening in the world.
I have also learned that the automotive trade is in the top 3 for service for complaints, and top 10 for customers inquiring about automotive service businesses. I didn’t realize that a business had to pay fees to be in the BBB, and pass a set of regulations to be eligible.
The BBB is a reliable source for information, and I believe we are grateful to have such an exceptional service.

They view that when customers have a complaint, this is not a lost opportunity for the customer to understand how much Chick-fil-A cares for their business. Rather it is an opportunity to stop and understand the customer better, such that one can better serve the customer and thus create a loyal avocation for the business.
Due to the fact FINRA and the SEC both hold a much bigger role in shaping the industry we will start with them, and then wrap up with the CBBB. Importance on how it shapes the industry is the reasoning behind this process.
In July of 1953 the United States Congress amended an act called the Small Business Act. Many believed that the essence of the American economic system of private enterprise is free competition. Also, that only through full and free competition can free markets, free entry into business, and opportunities for expression and growth of personal initiative and individual judgment can be assured. Thus, the Small Business Act was amended. In order to carry out the policies of this Act there was hereby created an agency under the name "Small Business Administration". The United States Small Business Administration, more commonly known as the SBA, is a federal agency to protect and assist America's greatest resource, the small business. Since American enterprise is the backbone of our economy and the driving force behind economic growth and prosperity.
The Federal Trade Commission is consisted of three bureaus and ten offices. Each bureau is intended to focus on a specific area to ensure that fair-trading is being practiced in the country. Although relationship customers also use the BAS system, it is more valuable for transactional customers. Since transactional customers emphasize more on quick delivery and low prices, but less on relationships, A/S focuses its efforts with the BAS system on providing the transactional customers with these values.

Difficult to regain trust of existing loyal customers who expected high quality and performance when in competition with other firms in upper trade market.
Federal consumer protection laws are mainly enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the U.S. Department of Justice. For example, the Federal Trade Commission has created the National Do Not Call Registry to decrease telemarketing fraud. This service allows the consumer to ban for-profit organizations from making unsolicited calls to their home telephone. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is responsible for consumer protection in the financial segment imposing that consumers are protected by the Consumer Protection Financial Act.
The main idea behind the CFPB was to make the finance industry more transparent for American consumers. It does so by regulating consumer financial protection laws, ending unfair and deceptive practices, and promoting financial education, among other things (Bianco). Considering the scope of the financial services market, this gives the CFPB authority over a wide variety of firms, including nonbank mortgage-related firms, student lenders, payday lenders, consumer banks, and any large consumer financial institution it deems necessary (Murphy,

Ethics are especially important in the B2B framework because businesses selling to other businesses treat their customers more as partners and rely on reciprocal information sharing for developing mutually beneficial partnerships (Pepper, 2004). Because the relationship is more extensive, every time there is an exchange of information or data, it must be meticulously tracked and labeled as general business or confidential as appropriate (Dada, 2004).
Every business needs to be approved by the BIR because it is needed when issuing a receipt. Even though REB Chicken Dealer is tax exempted the BIR is still needed because they are issuing a receipt to their customer.
This can be achieved by regulators and businesses working together to achieve significant improvements in the business sector. In the past, Government regulation has saved financial markets, but also has stumbled, and overstepped, creating unease between the two (Liveris, Pg. 8).
This and other examples of blatant unethical behavior has led to the expulsion. The BBB does not condone this behavior, and has shown that it will do whatever is necessary to rid the organization of branches that deviate from the ethical path. There are other organizations that are used by the public to gain insight. Yelp! and Angie's List are two popular web sites that give customer feedback on companies that are members.
