Living in a society that places much value on the American Dream, which includes having bigger homes, nicer cars, and fancier clothes, it is difficult to know what to spend our money on. It is assumed by many that living the American Dream will make them happier and therefore spend their money on material things. However, evidence suggests that spending money on experiences makes individuals happier as opposed to spending money on material possessions.
