The Unforgettable Journey The novel “Alchemist’’ was very successful novel and it achieved commercial success as well. The author of the novel was Paulo Coelho, who is a Brazilian novelist and also a numerous for an international awards and Crystal Award.Paulo Coelho needed someone to publish his novel, so he got a big publisher named Rocco, to get his book publish and his next book as well. The novel ‘’ Alchemist’’ was the top seller in Brazilian at that time. The book The Alchemist was there an expression book, the theme to the book would be always follow your dream in the sense that there is a higher being pushing you towards that dream. And sometimes you may run across the bridge that you can cross but you would have to rebuild the bridge so you can cross that off turning back because you cannot cross the broken bridge. There are many examples in the book that shows how he has so many obstacles stopping him from his dream and there are times when he felt discouraged wanting to go back to where he was before the dream. The alchemist was on a horse and had a falcon on his shoulder, which given he a more mysterious look. Then he goes on to tell Santiago to take him somewhere the are life in the desert, which confused Santiago. And I wouldn’t blame because I would be confused as well considering that the are some life that live in the desert. But Santiago did get what he meant by that, and he goes in the desert on his horse and tells the alchemist that ‘’life exists where they have stopped, because his horse knows life’’ which was a brilliant answer to his question, because the horse is alive which means its life itself, but that wasn’t what the alchemist was thinking. As the alchemist continues into desert; he picks up a cobra by its tail showing him that there is life everywhere even the desert
