Teilhard see God as the Omega point. He says that, evolution has been ceaselessly moving to a certain direction. It moves towards the increase of complexity-consciousness, and this process must have a goal. This goal is God-in-Christ, the Omega point. The factor makes evolution work, is the motive force of God. While Omega is the moving energy of creation, it must be in His character as Omega that Christ is the driving force of creation; something of Him must be there and active from the beginning. Teilhard states it as follows:

God willed His Christ-and in order to have His Christ, He had to create the spiritual world, and man in particular, upon which Christ might germinate—and to have man, He had to launch the vast process of organic life and the birth of that organic life called for the entire cosmic turbulence. …show more content…

Autonomy, actuality; irreversibility and transcendence are the four attributes of Omega. He specifies a lot of properties of Omega. Point omega is in and beyond the evolution. Thus it is in evolution, it is the part of evolution and the ultimate point of evolution. Teilhard says that, Omega is our definitive future, enduring and magnificent. We are able to act in the present only because of our future is a bright future. Hence irreversibility of the Omega is a crucial requirement of human life. Omega is the supreme core, actively attracting all things to itself by the force love. It cannot get done this if not it is a center, which is already present to be tremendously attraction, Omega must be supremely present. It is a individual centre radiating at the core of a system of centres. If this Omega does not be real or is not within reach of man, he would be an absurd creature, hoping or desiring something he will never attain. But Teilhard says that, man is not an absurd creature and so Omega exists and is attainable.
