Walmart was founded by the Waltons, co-founder Sam M. Walmart has 11,695 stores all across the world being visited by over 260 million customers weekly. Walmart’s main focus is their prices, “selling more for less”. Walmart stores are formatted in different ways like; the Walmart Supercenter, Walmart Discount Store, Walmart Neighborhood Market, and an online store. With having such a large assortment of products, it makes it more convenient for a customer to come in the store buying everything they need at one time. Walmart has 2.3 million employees around the world, making it the biggest employer in the world after the U.S Department of Defense and the Chinese Army. About 75% of their store management teams make between 50,000-170,000 a year, starting off as an hourly associate. Last year 200,000 employees were promoted and earned $550 million in bonuses.
