It is apparent effort went into proofreading the book. The structure of how the story unfolds is easy to follow. One area that could use some clarification is when Anna returns to the school and faces the father as the teacher for her one class. The story makes it sound like she is in front of the class, yet the teacher is touching her. Is he somehow hidden from the view of the classmates? If he is running the class, which it sounds like he is, could it be changed that his other son is under the desk touching her? It is a little confusing how he is leading the class yet is somehow touching her without the classmates knowing, except his son in the class. Adding some extra words could provide clarity to what is taking place. Additionally, the prologue is well written, but it may over do the use of appealing to all of the senses. There is a lot of description in the prologue, that isn't found in the rest of the story, that makes the reader feel overwhelmed. It may be helpful to sum things up in the prologue with less description. The reader could feel lost with as much as is
Evaluation: I thought the book was very exciting and suspenseful like her other books. The book had very good detail and an interesting plot. I liked the twist when Juan and the girl’s father came upon Glenn walking down the road. I also liked how the author described the action in great detail. It made me feel like I was right there seeing it all happen firsthand. I don’t think that the author could’ve made this book any better than she did already.
I found the book to be easy, exciting reading because the story line was very realistic and easily relatable. This book flowed for me to a point when, at times, it was difficult to put down. Several scenes pleasantly caught me off guard and some were extremely hilarious, namely, the visit to Martha Oldcrow. I found myself really fond of the char...
In my eyes I loved the book I rate it a 9/10, its had a good twist and turn to it. I loved this
I would recommend this book to people who love realistic stories. Personally for me it is hard to find books that interest me and this one felt like if I was watching someone else's life while I read it. It has so many interesting points. When you think something might happen
There are several things that I like about this book. First off, I love historical fiction, and this is the genre of this book. Also, despite the author being too descriptive, the book went at a steady pace. For me, pace usually determines whether I will read the book or not, and I never really hesitated, or thought about changing books.
I would recommend this book to a friend because this book is a great book all around. This book has good suspense even though it might seem like a kids book.
I would recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys historical fiction books where the characters learn life-altering lessons. I also feel that people of all ages would enjoy this book because it’s messages and theme was very positive. While I did enjoy this book, I think I will not be reading another historical fiction novel for my upcoming book response.
My overall opinion of this book is good I really liked it and recommend it to anyone. It is a good book to read and it keep you interested throughout the whole book.
Did you like the book? would you recommend this book to others? Why or why
Plot Structure – I felt that most of the exposition took place in the beginning of the first page. For the rest of the story there was mostly rising action. Then, I felt that the climax came when Julian sees his mother crumple to the ground. The falling action and resolution are packaged together in the last couple paragraphs.
*All in all I would say that this novel is definitely a good read. I found my self at times relating my own thoughts and experiences to that of the characters in the book. This is the very reason I would recommend that you give your class next semester the option of reading either this book or another. From my point of view, I think that most men can not relate to certain situations that occur, which lessens the overall significance of her writing.
I would give this book a four point five out of five stars because I really liked the book as a whole, but when it came to the wording of same characters I wasn’t comfortable with how explicit it was. I enjoyed how the author used descriptive words to show what it was like in those times, it really made me think about the story.I
A New Literacy Age in American Society Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart depicts a futuristic American society dominated by media. Technology is their most precious process, everything revolves around their äppärät. Everyone is ranked based on their attractiveness and wealth. Most people want to stay young and live longer. Any written artifacts are almost non-existent, and literacy is not the same as before.
8.Recommendation: I wouldn’t recommend this book for anyone to read because it’s quite boring and very confusing in some parts of the story. Well it’s confusing to me and it’s like the most weirdest book I have ever read. Someone who likes to read novels or read in general would like this book because or if they like this genre they would like this
series for two reasons. The first reason is because it ties up all the questions I had from the other books. This book really was a good ending, for me at least. And the second reason is because it’s just a great book. It has mystery, suspense, humor, action and many more things that keep you from putting the book down. On a scale of one to ten I would rate this ten and it is also my number one favorite book (so far).
