Jerri knew the Resubas would never love her and her brothers a much as she love her flesh and blood grandchild Alice. Some time later they were sent to an orphanage where she was split up from her twin brothers Trevor and Tyler. Her oldest brother was sent to a different orphanage because he was too old. In the orphanage she started to have a different view on things that she never had before. Hoping she gets adopted she ends up going through two foster homes and unfortunately back to the orphanage. At this time Jerri is 14 years old and now understands what it’s like to be stuck in the revolving doors of foster care. She is no longer interested in the hopes of finding a forever home and she believes that it is better to live at the orphanage for the next four years.
