In the book, Mexican WhiteBoy, written by Matt de la Pea, the author explores the topic of identity from the perspective of Danny, who feels like he does not belong in his city, Leucadia, because of his ancestors, and the way he looks, White and Mexican. Which is saying he will not be able to establish a relationship with others if he thinks he is different from others. Danny is playing baseball with some of Sofia's friends, Uno, Raul, Pedro, and Manny.
