I am going to explain the basic concepts of subtractive synthesis and the terminology of subtractive synthesisers with reference to acoustic principles.
Envolves
An envolope is a tool that helps us automate aspects of a sound, It generates a slow and evolving waveform which can be used modulate different parameters of the synthesiser like volume, pitch and timbre. The ADSR envelopes stands for attack, decay, sustain and release. The Attack of an Envelope Is the time its takes for the sound to reach it's full volume. For example if the attack is short, it will reach it's full volume quicker whereas if the attack is longer it will take longer for the note to reach it's full volume. The decay of an envelope is how fast the sound drops after the note has reach it's full volume. The sustain of an envelope, is the volume of the note it stays at after the decay. The release it how quickly the note fades after the note has been relased, if the release time is short, then the fade will be very quick, oppositely if the release time is longer than the note will take more time to fade.

Another inspiring women abolitionist in the 18th century, Jarena Lee, produced The Life and Religious Experiences of Jarena Lee, which is a women’s spiritual autobiography. Lee believed God called her to preach, despite the impropriety of women preachers due to the time period. Lee experienced hostility and prejudice as she traveled and spread the word of the Gospel, but continued to fight for her devotion to faith with the intention of fulfilling her calling from God. In The Life and Religious Experiences of Jarena Lee, Lee formats her text as a sermon and associated her qualifications with her production of a religious service in order to convince her audience of her abilities. Also, Lee associates herself with male ministers because of shared characteristics and experiences.

Hitting an artery: Arterial pulsation will be felt when palpating the vessel therefore this should not happen. Bright red blood will propel out under force if an artery is penetrated. In this circumstance you should release the tourniquet, take out the needle and apply pressure for five minutes to ensure the stoppage of blood flow (haemostasis). Make sure the site has stopped bleeding prior to the patient leaving. Recommend that they return to the surgery in order to make sure they are fine and checked - a physician should always check the patient before being released. If the patient is an in-hospital patient you need to alert a nurse or on duty doctor who will make sure the patient is checked for any re-bleed.
College, a gateway for expanding the horizons within our youth has many conflicting ideas due to it's cost, suggesting that it may not even be worth it. Yet thinking about having this privilege of exposing our minds to anything and everything we desire while providing ourselves with far more opportunity in the future makes every late night double shift, staying up until 3 am, living off ramen noodles well worth it.

“I Stand Here Ironing” by Tillie Olsen, is a story about a mother's struggle to balance the demands of raising children and having to work to make ends meet during the Great Depression. The story’s primary focus is on the relationship between the narrator, a mother, and her first child, Emily. Throughout the story, the narrator reflects on the decisions and mistakes she made while raising Emily. The narrator was detached from Emily almost completely during her younger years, but she desires an emotional connection to her, like she has with her other children. She also wants Emily to have a better life than she had.
Adultery, in almost any society is viewed in a negative manner that results in specific penalties in relation to the culture in which it is committed. In The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, the punishments in accordance with adultery in a Puritan Society are portrayed in a less-accurate, fictional context. However, if the character of Hester Prynne, or any puritan woman, was placed in Iran, her consequences for the sin would differ. In both a 17th century Puritan society in Massachusetts and in Iran, the act of adultery has varied, yet firm consequences meant to penalize women who commit the offense.
Television has affected every aspect of life in society, radically changing the way individuals live and interact with the world. However, change is not always for the better, especially the influence of television on political campaigns towards presidency. Since the 1960s, presidential elections in the United States were greatly impacted by television, yet the impact has not been positive. Television allowed the public to have more access to information and gained reassurance to which candidate they chose to vote for. However, the media failed to recognize the importance of elections. Candidates became image based rather than issue based using a “celebrity system” to concern the public with subjects regarding debates (Hart and Trice). Due to “hyperfamiliarity” television turned numerous people away from being interested in debates between candidates (Hart and Trice). Although television had the ability to reach a greater number of people than it did before the Nixon/Kennedy debate, it shortened the attention span of the public, which made the overall process of elections unfair, due to the emphasis on image rather than issue.
Polyphonic is operating on a “shoestring budget” of $150,000. The company is not helped by initial discussions about HSS with potential customers, which have resulted in cold receptions, at best, about the product’s potential application to the music processes despite its multiple strengths.
F) A common speaker consists of a frame where a permanent magnet and an electromagnet are held in place. Both are positioned so that the electromagnet is directly above the permanent magnet. A diaphragm is attached above the electromagnet. The diaphragm creates the sound wave as it vibrates. The alternating electric current that comes from the amplifier flows through the electromagnet which naturally causes its polar orientation to switch accordingly with the current. The permanent magnet that is below has a fixed polar orientation, so the electromagnetic will find it being constantly attracted and repelled in respect to its own alternation in polar orientation. Since the diaphragm is attached to the electromagnet, it will move up and down as well. This vibration of the diaphragm creates sound waves.

The sound track is produced separately from the image and includes three ingredients: Dialogue/voice, sound effects and music. The three elements of the sound track can work together and independently to create meaning and to produce different effects.
The discovery and widespread usage of composite materials has opened new doors in the manufacturing industry. Composites are materials composed of two or more different materials. The new material has distinct and superior structural properties than the individual component materials. The most ancient composite is adobe, which consists of straw reinforced clay and was commonly used as a building material [1]. Modern composites consist of a woven fiber, which reinforces a plastic polymer shell. Two major examples of modern composites are fiberglass and carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is a very new composite material and has a more recent history than materials such as steel and aluminum. Its origins can be traced to 1879, when Thomas Edison patented the usage of carbon filaments in electric lamps [2].
It is a known fact that technology that is developed in motor sports will eventually trickle down to the automotive industry. However for a long time this has been happening with gas powered technology and safety innovations. Recently, there has been a startup of a new form of motorsports that focuses on Earth’s environmental status. Formula E is one of the ways to spread social and political awareness and interest in electric vehicles. To make the car a sustainable and innovative platform. The goal of this research paper is to answer the following questions: how fast will the technology trickle down from motorsport to everyday life, are these efforts worth it, will Formula E make electric cars more popular around the world, how much do electric
This semester has taught me a lot of new things, to use as a writer, that I either was not very good at, or did not know before the semester began. One of the things that this semester has taught me was synthesis. This was the first time that I believe I have used synthesis. At least aware that I was using synthesis. I was not very good at it at first. I was confused by it, and I thought that it was stupid to use. However, as the semester went on, the better I got at it and the more I understood how much more effective this was, when developing your argument. There one worksheet to where it helped me understand synthesis more. I believe we did the worksheet during project 2, with the exercise consisting of, creating a paragraph using synthesis
