Stormy Daniels' 60 Minutes interview social media reactions
A president. An adult film star. An alleged payoff. Its little wonder why social media had such a strong reaction to the latest chapter in Stormy Daniels’s alleged affair with Donald Trump.
On March 25, former adult film actress Stormy Daniels gave an explosive interview on 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper detailing her alleged affair with President Donald Trump back in 2006. In it, Daniels, who has a net worth of about $2 million (£1.4 million), claimed to have had a sexual encounter with Trump after the pair met at a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe in July 2006. She also claimed to have been threatened by an unknown man somehow connected to Trump after planning to sell her story to the magazine In Touch Weekly in 2011.
Daniels was later reportedly paid $130,000 (£91,356) by Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, on the eve of the 2016 election as hush

Perhaps the biggest bombshell was that someone connected to Trump threatened her after she reportedly sold her story about the affair to In Touch Weekly back in 2011. Daniels claimed that an unknown man approached her and her infant daughter in a Las Vegas parking lot and told her to ‘leave Trump alone’ and that ‘it would be a shame if something happened to her mom,’ referencing Daniels’s daughter. The incident left the former adult film star ‘rattled’ but she declined to report it to the police out of fear for her own safety.
Another part of the interview that raised a lot of eyebrows was Daniels’s assertion that Trump said she was ‘special’ and reminded him of his daughter Ivanka. Also during the interview, Daniels claimed that Trump pushed, unsuccessfully, for her to have a role on his hit TV show Celebrity Apprentice after promising her an appearance on
She has a net worth of $10 million but her salary is not revealed yet.

A Bestselling author and co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” is a remarkably confident lady and TV-journalist Mika Brzezinski whose on-air protest between entertainment news & “hard news” received a large number of supports and fans’ responses on 26 June 2007 in which she had refused to read the news about a release of Paris Hilton from Jail rather she considered more important Senator Richard Lugar with President Bush on the war of Iraq breaking news. The Black Public Relations Society hosted a general body meeting titled, “Black Women in the Media” in the Tuttleman Learning Center. The meeting was conducted by two of the black female students one of which was the president. Going into the meeting, I felt eager to get talking about the negative stereotypes on women. Now that I look back, I didn’t even think about the black women of the LGBTQIA+ community and how they are portrayed in the media.
Flynt’s cravings for power and his obsession with sex have inspired his actions. The impeachment trials created an atmosphere in which a porn king, Larry Flynt, was able to capture the attention of the American public. This sex obsessed publisher of the notorious Hustler magazine created quite a stir by exposing the hypocritical actions of Clinton's republican opponents during the impeachment trial. His dramatic antics and vulgar tactics enabled him to gain notoriety with the American Public. Flynt turned the tables in American politics. The Republicans no longer had the offensive advantage, since Flynt allegations force them had to take a defensive status. Larry Flynt embodies important attitudes of the current status of sex and politics in American society.
... president. She said that she wanted all the information released because she thought the Warren Commission could not find the real reason behind Kennedy’s assassination. There is plenty of evidence out there that shows that the Warren Report was false and not truthfully put together.
The documentary zeroes in on the politicizing of Fox's reporting, from daily memos deciding on what topics to focus on and which to avoid all together. It discusses the trivializing of the "Fox News Alert," originally conceived as an attention-grabbing device for earth-shaking events, but soon used to report the daily movements of J-Lo and Martha Stewart. The filmmaker also uses amusing rapid-fire compositons of different aspects of the network to make a mockery of such claims as "We Report, You Decide" and "Fair and Balanced" (the network's slogans).
They will take that as a confession from her, and be further led to believe that the accusations against Father Flynn are false.
Technology is growing fast, as is the new generations branching off with new forms of media and devices that provide us with the news. News and politics have had difficulty when informing its public and community of the events that happen in their community. Now the media and news are growing to reform to the earlier generation’s way of receiving the news and events related to them, by using media and popular culture. According to Wodak, for politics to air and to engage and intrigue its public, it must need scandal, rumour, and speculation (45). The West Wing, is a clear example of where the news and politics enter into the world of entertainment, but still informing its audience of the political world and events they may face. I will be analyzing The West Wing television series in relation to the representations of gender, race, and politics with support from examples and scholarly sources.

With a devastatingly crucial issue such as women being shunned by the media, it’s not okay to have the ideas of other people in your work. In the article, “Controversial Hillary Cover of Time Illuminates Sexism in the Media” by Marianne Schnall, implies that the media is negatively affecting the chances of women becoming successful with all the sexism it is portraying. Marianne Schnall is a published writer and professional interviewer with many influential credentials that she is not afraid to use. In addition, this article's overall effectiveness was not what I was expecting. The article was overwhelming because of all the people she mentioned and then she tried elaborating what they all said after each interview!
During these difficult economic times sensationalism has become more prevalent in the media. Stories involving sex scandals and child murders have taken over our T.V and internet screens as well as the front pages of our newspapers. As media has grown it has allowed for easier use for the average individual. This paper will examine how Donald Trump has used the media available today and how effective he has been. To begin, Trump’s background must be looked at to gain an understanding of how he came to the place he is today. According to the Washington Post, he was born in Queens New York into a wealthy family and when he was a teenager he was sent off to military school by his father (Miller & Schwartzman). He grew up with a cushy lifestyle before his father decided that his behavior required somewhat of a “reality check” for the teen. Trump later went into the family business of being a real estate developer in 1971. Eventually he even starred in his own relity television
