There are many drugs that people use these days and some of them bring about some positive impacts and cure whatever diseases that we will be suffering from. However, there are other drugs that are not good for your health. Among these drugs are steroids. Steroids are considered to be organic compounds with a characteristic cycloalkane ring shapes. In most cases people use them to develop their muscles and enhance their performance when it comes to training. Like any other drugs, steroids become a problem when they get abused and or get used for a longtime or in the wrong way that they are meant to be used for. Steroid abuse has been connected with liver tumors and an uncommon condition called peliosis hepatis, in which blood-filled sores structure in the liver. Both the tumors and the sores can burst, bringing about interior dying. In addition to all this information, it is of high importance to mention that streids are addictive as much as much as other drugs are if used for a long time. According to an ESPN report based on the studies of Dr. Dr. Wadler, a New York University School of Medicine professor and lead author of the book Drugs and the Athlete, “Long-time steroid users and steroid abusers may experience the classic characteristics of addiction including cravings, difficulty in stopping steroid use and withdrawal symptoms. "Addiction is an extreme of dependency, which may be a psychological, if not physical, phenomena," says Dr. Wadler. "Regardless, there is no question that when regular steroid users stop taking the drug they get withdrawal pains and if they start up again the pain goes away.
