Positives One of the best things Psihoyos did to prove his point was to venture out into the streets of Japan and talk with the locals to find out how informed they were and educate them further. He got the people to listen and take notice of the slaughter that was happening. This documentary was very emotional and used more than one of the senses to get the message across. For example, he not only provided visuals, but sound effects as well. We see the sea turn red and hear a recording of the screeching dolphins being slaughtered. This was recorded by an underwater microphone to give the listener a better idea of the impact and the awareness the dolphins have. They are not just fish but mammals like us.
