Have you ever wonder what it would be to be a dog or a cat in an animal shelter? Or to be a dog or a cat who has been abused. To wonder how they may feel about the way they were treated. Well, as of right now our community animal shelter is dangerously low on food and other supplies they need in order to continue to take care of the animals. The volunteers at the shelter are very concerned on what might happen to the animals if they run out of supplies. Here are some reasons why you should give donations to this worthy cause. If they don't get any donations the animals could starve, and eventually die. Some animals may need medicine in order to help them. The animals need to be able to get the regular vaccination shots.

If the shelter does not get donations the animals will starve. All animals need food, water and shelter to survive. Without food they can get highly sick, dangerously skinny, and may in fact die. Dogs and cats that are healthy can go the most of 5 days without food. Although water, they can not go long then at the most a day without water. Imagine this, what if the grocery store was out of food and water. You would be hungry, thirsty. And you may even die, we can last at least the same amount of days as the dogs and cats. My point is before you just say no, try to put yourself in there shoes. Think of how it would be if you didn't …show more content…

Without there medicine they could get worse, or even die, depending on their diagnosis. Like i have said before try to put yourself in their shoes. What if you had cancer, and there was no way for you to afford and or get the treatment you need in order to get rid of it. That's like if a dog may Parvo and the animal shelter does not have the stuff they need in order to help the poor dog. He/she could die a painful death. Or if there is a cat that has a kidney disease, and there is no medicine left for them at the animal
