People should not ban sports fishing. If sports fishing was banned then people would just eat the fish instead of catching and releasing the fish. Sports fishing is actually helping because people aren’t forced to eat the fish because the law banned them from releasing the fish. Sports fishing can be a great way for people to relax. After a stressful day at work one of the best ways people calm down is to go sports fishing. Sports fishing is a good for the economy. Sports fishing requires people 17 or over to get a fishing license which costs money and helps the government. Those are just a few reasons why sports fishing shouldn’t be banned.
People would eat fish more if sports fishing was banned. Why would people keep doing sports fishing. When you can't release your fish after catching it you have to eat the fish. Sports fishing is fun and makes you feel good. Catching a fish is a great feeling, it makes you feel proud of yourself and when you release the fish, letting it live you feel even better because you let the fish live. Fish have better odds living with sports fishing around. Fish have a 50, 50 chance on whether they die or not when caught if sports fishing was banned then it would be a 100% chance that when caught they die but sports fishing cuts that in half. Fish have better odds living with sports fishing around that’s why it shouldn’t be banned.

Since three-forth of the world is composed of bodies of water, it’s natural that a great number of people rely on fishing for their livelyhood or just for their recreation needs. There are numerous of fish species swimming under the lakes, seas, ponds, and rivers. Most anglers consider fishing as the delight in their purpose-driven life, a sport, as they say.
The fishing off the coast of New England provided jobs for many people in the New England area. The fisherman and those that worked in the canneries were first and foremost the beneficiaries of the plentiful fishing. These people were very independent group and were passionately against any form of regulation by the U.S. Government. It was recognized very early that over fishing was going to be a problem in a 1930 report done by Harvard University. A recommendation was to increase the mesh size of the net then however; it was not until 1953 that regulations occur. (www.nefc.noaa.gov, 2004) History shows 23 years to make a decision was too little to late. The fishermen took a very anthropocentric view of the entire situation. ...
In the late 1990s fishermen were getting stressed and many of them turned in their boats. This is because the government made new rules and regulations for the fishing industry. These rules are supposed to help endangered fish, although some are not helping at all. The government allows small boat fishermen to catch only 500 pounds of cod per day and requires them to toss any extra overboard before they reach shore.
One crowd was made up of middle-aged college graduates who played division one sports. The supplemented group comprised of middle-aged college graduates who did not participate in sports. The study showed they were in much poorer physical condition, and agonized from a number of things including depression, fatigue, and sleep disturbances. Non-athletes portrayed much less signs of wear and tear. The fact that they do not get paid is only part of the problem.
I am in favor that college football should not be banned. This sport is such a big part of many males, and a few females’ lives. This sport has caused many injuries, but so has baseball, basketball, or even cheerleading. Football provides many scholarships for young men who otherwise would not be able to afford college Also football teams gives individuals a sense of confidence, and a place they feel that belong. There are football players that get their encouragement to get up everyday, because of their love for this sport. Also a team is like your family. When I was on the dance team at my high school, a team feels as if they are your family. These are just a few reasons I feel that college football should not be banned.
People can catch fish and skin them and clean them off, fry them and then eat them. Then there is deer, which you have to have a license to hunt. People also have to have fishing licenses or a park ranger or gain warden will fine you $75 and $20 more if you are caught with more fish that you are suppose to have.(Penalties for Fishing without a License,1). There are 3 types of fishing limits and restrictions, and they are catch limits, possession limits, and size restrictions.(Fishing limits and size retrictions,1). Catch limits means that you can only catch a certain amount of fish in one day. When you catch your limit, then you better not keep anymore or you will get fined. Possession limits means to target the fishing mortality rate. Then there is size restrictions of a fish, which is the size the fish has to be before you keep it. A fish has to be exactly 13 inches. If your fish is bigger or smaller than 13 inches then people will get fined.
Since the start of time, humans have been catching fish. The sport has, in many ways, evolved hugely, and yet in many aspects has stayed exactly the same. To me fishing is unique and I find it can be anything from relaxing to a very intense experience.
Due to the demand many packaging for the fish can find its was back to sea, or when fishermen are out at sea they can leave their garbage. Many nets from the boats and gears can also be found in the water, that fish can later see as food, eat it, and die; this ties back to extinction in fish. There is much pollution and decline stocks in fish because it is very hard to regulate the seas. To fulfill the growing demand for seafood, many companies are forced to fish beyond areas that are supposed to be non-fishing zones. This is because there are hardly any laws or restrictions telling them where they can and cannot fish. Sally Driscoll and Tom Warhol report in, ‘Overfishing’, that itt wasn’t until 1956 where we saw our first regulation, the United Nations organized the first UN Convention of the Law of the Sea or the NCLOS which helped promote rights of all countries by establishing boundaries off shore. Meaning that some seafood fished in certain areas of the ocean cannot be sold in certain countries, and in some areas it is illegal to fish unless you have a permit from that country. Economy also helps make it harder to regulate the seas, in ‘Overfishing’ it is explained that Preisdent Barack Obama brought up Antiquities Act of 1906, that let fishermen expand their fishing areas. The United Nations FAO estimates that 25 percent of all fish trapped in nets are labeled unusable or not licensed for fishing by the
This is the reason fishing has become one of the best therapeutic exercise used by therapists and counselors. Also, healthcare providers use fishing to help not only veterans but even people with severe diseases and those who have been through traumatic experiences in their lives.
Youths should not be banned in sports such as dodge ball, cheer leading and football.
Limited activity here. In a few lakes, lanterns placed near ice-fishing holes sometimes seem to attract crappies. Ordinary ice-fishing tackle is used with minnows for bait.
In Conclusion, a ban on boxing is not only illogical but impossible! In my mind, if you want to minimize the number of actual life-long injuries related to sports, you would be better off coming up with elaborated rules for motor sports or rock climbing. Who wants to terminate a sport that has been entertaining the world for centuries? How could medical ethics eliminate a sport which participates in the Olympics?
Should there be bag limits on fishing?. What are bag limits you might ask, well bag limits are “the amount of fish you can keep per species in a certain state”. Here in Wisconsin we do a lot of fishing so we have bag limits for almost each species of fish in our state. The DNR enforces these limits. There are some people that agree with the limits, and some who don’t think the should be bag limits at all. I agree that we should have bag limits and here is why, They keep fish population at a healthy level, they keep our lakes and rivers food chain in order, and they keep people from overfishing.
Many people see hunting and fishing as the slaughtering of innocent animals for no reason other than sport and fun. However, the truth is, hunting and fishing are beneficial to people, environments, and the economy. Hunting and fishing are beneficial to the economy because they cause a major economic impact. Hunting and fishing are beneficial to environments and people because they reduce damages done by wildlife overcrowding. Hunting and fishing are also beneficial to people because they provide a healthy, affordable source of food.
Unless the current situation improves, stocks of all organisms that are currently fished for food are predicted to collapse drastically by 2048 (WWF 2.) Briggs emphasizes that over-fishing “has induced population collapses in many species. So instead of having less than a hundred species at risk, as was the case some 30-40 years ago, there are now a thousand or more
