Many masters of technology have created superb inventions. From cellular phones to GPS, the technological world grows each and every day. But the best technology comes from the comic world, ranging from the impenetrable Batmobile to the famous Web shooters. With the help of Doctor Curt Connors, Spider-Man has become one of the greatest inventors of the Marvel universe, and has created many impressive gadgets. With his variety of gadgets, Spider-Man can defeat any enemy given prep time. Therefore, Spider-Man is the best superhero there is.

Even though Spider-Man loses his powers when he comes down with the cold, he has a high chemical resistance. He was a human that was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving him many incredible superhuman abilities including his increased metabolism, protecting him from almost all illnesses. Due to his high metabolism, the chance for him to actually get the cold is bordering 0%. Having a high metabolism implies that an organism is able to overcome any virus much quicker than other organisms with low metabolisms.
