Sociological imagination is a study used as a guideline to dissect the root of everyday life problem with the idea of thinking outside the box and looking at things from an alternative point of view. As the value of community change school is more welcoming. However, individualism is the permeating value, supporting American classroom, the independent action of the individual. It is really hard to build a sense of the communities when college life generates an individual system. At CR there is very little club or space that the student can build a sense of the communities. It possible that there are lots of club and extracurricular activities that I don’t know about. But I feel like CR is doing a bad job at presenting resource or club to the student. Unlike High School, where there are lots of club and school activities such as spring fever week, homecoming and ect. I have to agree with Nathan that student stays within their own group. There are no diversities although student feels they have a strong sense of the communities. The first months of classes went by smoothly and I felt like I was adjusting fine. I attended class regularly and took notes from the lectures. I remember telling myself that college is so chill. It so different from high school where the teacher is strict on class policy. For example, asking for permission to use the restroom and the number one thing electronic device is not allowed. But as the pace picks up I started to fall behind. After the first exam, I realize that college exam requires constant interaction with the material. Even though it’s more laid back it requires more time and responsibility. During my high school year, I did not have to study as hard as I have to do now that I am in college. Usually, I just study the day before the test and score at least 80 to 90 percent. But now it's different. If I just study the day before the test my score is below 60 percent, 60 percent being the highest. In high school, the material is presented at a slower pace which makes it easier to understand the material. College lecture is more complex plus one chapter is covered in a day. Colleges try their best to form a sense of community, but the reality is that everyone has their individual path and schedules, and one must really put in effort to have similar paths and schedules as their peers. Sociological imagination commonly also referred to as the sociological perspective is defined more clearly as issues that are connectively both personal issues and larger public issues (Henslin & Fowler, 2010). This term was introduced by C. Wright Mills in his 1959 book entitled The Sociological Imagination. During high school, I did not have to study as hard as I do now that I am in college. Usually, I would be able to study the day before the test and score a hundred percent. Although, occasionally, I would be able to skip a few classes and get the notes from a classmate or of course, resort to guessing. However, now that I am in college, the lectures require much more attentiveness and are more complex: composing more information, meaning that one has to proportion time more responsibly and take an advantage of good study habits. My learning skills have made a complete transformation since I have been in college. I learned new things and I actually enjoy learning new things. Nevertheless, these changes required a lot of self control and practice. Going through these experiences have changed my entire persona about learning such as study habits, being more attentive during classes, and going through greater extents to succeed in certain classes.

Going to college I just figured that everything would be different. I was wrong. Once again when our teacher left the room chaos ensued. It was not even a different, more mature form of chaos. The exact same things that happen when a second grade classroom is left unattended happened.
