Sociological imagination is a study used as a guideline to dissect the root of everyday life problem with the idea of thinking outside the box and looking at things from an alternative point of view. Sociological imagination is the ability to see things socially and link it with society as a whole. The application of the sociological imagination allows me to understand the role and nature of education in its multiple aspects and forms. American education represents today existing political and economic needs.

By building a level of comfort create a welcoming atmosphere. The students can interact with peer and get to know and be more comfortable with the staff. In Why Rural School Matter, School is a connected communities of students, parent, friends, and community. The demographic and history influence the role that school contributes to students' success. As the value of community change school is more welcoming. However, individualism is the permeating value, supporting American classroom, the independent action of the individual. It is really hard to build a sense of the communities when college life generates an individual system. At CR there is very little club or space that the student can build a sense of the communities. It possible that there are lots of club and extracurricular activities that I don’t know about. But I feel like CR is doing a bad job at presenting resource or club to the student. Unlike High School, where there are lots of club and school activities such as spring fever week, homecoming and ect. I have to agree with Nathan that student stays within their own group. There are no diversities although student feels they have a strong sense of the communities. The first months of classes went by smoothly and I felt like I was adjusting fine. I attended class regularly and took notes from the lectures. I remember telling myself that college is so chill. It so different from high school where the teacher is strict on class policy. For example, asking for permission to use the restroom and the number one thing electronic device is not allowed. But as the pace picks up I started to fall behind. After the first exam, I realize that college exam requires constant interaction with the material. Even though it’s more laid back it requires more time and responsibility. During my high school year, I did not have to study as hard as I have to do now that I am in college. Usually, I just study the day before the test and score at least 80 to 90 percent. But now it's different. If I just study the day before the test my score is below 60 percent, 60 percent being the highest. In high school, the material is presented at a slower pace which makes it easier to understand the material. College lecture is more complex plus one chapter is covered in a day. That a lot of information for a day. The pace is very fast that it was overwhelming and stressful. After taking a couple of semesters at CR,
