bachelor's degree in social work and also a master's degree in social work.

Training: psychotherapy training at DCFS and Internship during his Master's Degree in social work

Give support to clients, confidentiality, respect and determination so that they can overcome their obstacles.

What do you like most about your career field?

The most she likes about my work is when she sees the growth of the clients. Also when clients use the tools I give them.

Always be willing to start in a position that maybe is not what you would like to have, show that you are passionate about your career and show that you will be of great help to your clients.

If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same path for your-self? If not, what would you change?

She does not see herself doing anything else but says that she would do different things. She loves her career.

What skills, abilities, and personal attributes are essential to success in your this field?

Be a person with empathy, be committed to your clients, remember the code of ethics, want to help others and be mentally and emosionally prepared to listen and deal with all kinds of situations.

This interview helped me and reaffirmed my passion for psychology, giving my help to the people who need it and knowing that I can help a person, a family or a couple to have a better quality of life and relationship. What kinds of problems do you deal in your career field?

She works at an Elementary School with students from 4th to 8th grade. The most difficult thing is to process the traumas that are already dragging, these problems are manifested in the behavior and other areas. These are some of the problems she faces in her work.

What current issues and trends in the field should I know about/be aware of?

When one does not process the traumas of the clients these traumas can affect you. Also when you no longer have that contact or trust with your clients.

What are some common career paths in this field?

Some of the common careers are counselor, psycologist and psycotherapist.

What kinds of accomplishments tend to be valued and rewarded in this field?

Her reward is when she sees their clients rehabilitated, see that they overcome their obstacles and know that families remain united.
