I awoke to the sound of my phone's alarm buzzing in my ear. I groaned at the thought of having to get up so early. I sat up and didn't move from there for a couple minutes then, decided to get out of bed and go to my closet to find some clothes to wear. Once I got dressed (A/N: picture of outfit above) I headed toward the bathroom to brush my hair. My hair is a natural black, which I like. When my hair was brushed, I grabbed my phone and went outside to wait for the bus. *time skip brought to you by Alois's booty shorts (few will get it but those who do are awesome)* Once I got to school I was immediately pushed into one of the lockers, I looked up to see Lexi and the slut quad, a name I had given them, despite how mean and slutty they were
they were very popular, Lexi and her posse of sluts have been bullying me since 6th grade but of course no one wants to help me since I'm the girl everyone hates. "Oh look its the slut squad." I said in a taunting voice, "Looking for some boys to fuck, maybe?" As soon as I said that I was punched in the gut by one of Lexi's goons, "Shut up, you little whore!" Lexi yelled at me, pushing me to the ground. "No one loves you because you're such a fucking whore!" she and her posse started kicking me, "I hope you die in a hole!" "Everyone wishes you were dead!" she said as she and her posse walked away. I slowly got up and went to class. Once class started the teacher introduced a new kid, he had black hair and green eyes, to be honest he looked really cute. I could see his eyes scan the class and stop on me, I quickly looked away and started drawing in my notebook. " Take a seat where ever you like." the teacher told him, so he walked over and sat by me, I questioned myself why he wanted to sit by me, I mean there are a lot of open seats, so why me? I thought about it for a couple seconds but shrugged it off. *time skip brought to you by Grell's obsession with Bassy* The bell rang signalling lunch time, I got my lunch and on my way to the table I usually sit at, I was tripped and ended up falling face first in my mashed potatoes, I heard laughing and looked up to see Lexi and her posse standing there cackling, she kicked me in the stomach and walked away along with her posse. I stood up and ran to the bathroom to clean my face. Once my face way clean I sat down, put my knees to my chest, and cried. I stopped at the sound of the door opening and looked up to see Lexi and her posse walking in, "You thought you could get away from us!" she yelled as her and her posse started beating me to the point where I coughed up blood. I was on the verge of passing out when I heard her say, "I think she's had enough, for now." They quickly left, a couple seconds later I passed out.
His opposer stands triumphantly as he thought to have succeeded in his mission. “How ill mannered is he?” the sniper murmured to himself with a devious smile. Standing tall in all black; blazer, bow tie, socks, Balmoral shoes, with the button up also to be corresponding. He appears seemingly endless like a black shadowed character made up to startle young children. The opposing sniper moves as if he is the actual Slender Man. As he stands as a vacuous man, I conjure my scheme to vanish him.
The new assignment intrigued her. She looked forward to getting the details, writing the story that would impress the editor. Driving into the parking lot at the Modern Girl’s Cosmetic Factory, she parked, got out of the car and saw several people walking back and forth in front of the building, carrying large signs. The messages written in large black letters on bright-colored poster boards clearly stated. ‘NO FACTORY IN OUR TOWN USING OUR ANIMALS and SAVE OUR PETS’. On the other side of the building, she noticed others carrying similar signs stating ‘ANIMALS ARE PLENTIFUL’, ‘WE NEED JOBS’ and ‘COSMETICS DON’T KILL’ ‘TOO MANY ANIMALS, USE THEM’.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
The desert sun beats down on her as she runs. She has never had to run like this in her life. She is fast, but they are faster, and it’s only moments until they realize she is gone.
No time. He stashed the old rowboat under the aged willow tree where he found it two days before. The blood soaked running suit went into a one Dumpster the gloves into another. He knew the schedule. By 10 AM, they would both be in the landfill. Good luck on finding them.
“Get down!” says Sean as he tackles me to the ground. “we’re surrounded we’re the last two left!’ He says in panic “we have to mo-“cut short by the sound of him hitting the ground.
I felt the rumbles deep within my abdomen -- I have felt this feeling before, accompanied by the cold sweat and state of panic -- pressure and intense urgency filled my mind and body. “Lish! Pass me the trowel, I need to dig a cathole!” I exclaimed. (Lish was our beaver-resembling male camp guide named Elisha).
she always used to wish for a way to escape her life. She saw memories
“Please! Don’t do this!” the girl screamed. She held her arms up in defense against the malevolent figure with a crown of thorns placed on its head and a blood-stained, white trench coat that enclosed her body.
I turn around, the unsettling feeling of something following dawns on me. A wave of mist rushes over to me and blurs my vision. Crows cackle into the dark night and I’m suddenly aware of how alone I am. I start running, the fear of a creature lurking in the forest is my worst enemy. Constantly looking over my shoulder, expecting to see a monster staring into my soul. A light suddenly shines onto me and I am illuminated in the dark surroundings. Startled and confused I back away from the spotlight, thrown into complete darkness again. The light is being thrown around the forest, hungry for a living being. I crouch behind some bramble and hope the light disappears.
It was a chilly night, when i turn around to check my clock , 3:10 am I sigh frustrated can't go back to sleep, finally I decided to stand up from my bed, put my shoes on and go to the kitchen. I open the refrigerator and grab the bottle of milk and some Oreos that mom bought me yesterday, when I'm done I clean everything and went back to my room. I try to sleep, but I can't, I'm so excited because tomorrow me and my friends are going to the Bahamas for Christmas break. I woke up at 6 am, our flight its at 10:54 am, I take a hot shower, I wash my dark hair, took me 20 minutes to get out the shower, I choose my favorite pair of jeans, my favorite red blouse and the white converse that I always use, I comb my hair, put some lipstick on.
"Ok, now let's see what you can do with this pistol alright" I gave her five shells to load and told her, "always leave the hammer on an empty chamber for your safety" I stood behind her and watched as she took aim not expecting her to hit any of the targets. Boy was I wrong, with every shot a target flew through the air with a hole dead center. After she unloaded the pistol she motioned for me to give her more ammo. I gave her five more shells, she loaded the gun, aimed and fired with the same results. After this round was over I motioned for her to sit down a minute. Brenda was smiling and said, "how did I do" "You were great and where did you learn to shoot that way" I use to target pratice, remember I told you that" "yes I remember, but did not expect you to be so good" "Big things come in small packages she laughed. I laughed with her and said, "let's see how you do with a rifle now" I walked out about two-hundred feet and set up four targets for her and said, "all your's" Brenda steadied herself and aimed, missed the first one, raised the rifle again, and took a shot. The target went flying through the air flipping over and over. "Not bad, now and let's see if you can keep it going" I told her. She hit the other two and raised the rifle again, and I stopped her and said, "what are you shooting at" "The one I missed of course" The other target she hit knocked the down she missed so I let her have her way. She cocked the rifle, brought it up to aim and fired. Sure enough that target went down. "You are amazing and is there anything else I do not know about you smiling" "Oh there is a lot but that would take the mystery of of it wouldn't it", grinning. "I suppose and we have plenty of time to find out those things my dear" As we walked back to the cabin we held hands like two lovers that were sneaking around behind their parents back. The rest of the day we just sat on the porch and made small talk with one another. Every-now-and-then she would look at me and smile. Brenda started humming a little tune and I watched her rocking back and forth keeping time to it.
As the sun slowly settled, darkness began to overcome the Earth. Sickness—had come. The sickness slowly but readily crept into each home. It was the Midnight Theft. The destructive plague stole during midnight—it stole lives. Deep in the heart of Tukenasville, people were dying, and the whole country was beginning to perish. The flowers withered as they bloomed. The mountain peaks crumbled under steer weight. Animals fled to holes to live out the final moments of their life. People were distraught, and chaos was invading every planet in the macrocosm. People called me Nikolaou Gonfalon. I was the last of the Warriors of Phos. Long ago, the Sisters of Moiré ordained my doomed fate. I tried to bargain with them to change it, but in the end, I captured them and locked them up in a repository on a cliff. I was to lead the expedition to find the cure for the Midnight Theft. That, however, was not the reason why I would go on this journey. My best friend, Tolem, was dying of a rare illness called Takigifeay. It was causing the slow built up of lactic acid on his bones. I knew that death would come to him soon. Legend spoke about a necklace that can bring life to anyone or thing. It was said to have been belonged to an Oceanian, one of the water people. The Lost Jade Necklace of Serenity was what it was called, and it could bring healing to the Earth. Nonetheless, it could be the obliteration of mankind, also. I began to pack since my journey was to start at that moment.
Well, this is the story of my day yesterday. I woke up at around 4:30 because I had to finish some homework. However, before doing my homework I had to take a shower. You know when you wake up and you are really sweaty? Well, that pretty much always happens to me so I have made it my usual routine to take a shower every morning. Well, after taking the shower I went to do my homework which took me around 20 minutes. Then it was time to RUN because I was late to catch my bus. Just so you know the bus usually comes at around 6:30 am and usually I have to leave my house at 6:20 to catch it; in this particular day I left my house at 6:25. I almost didn’t catch the bus that day but that wasn’t the worst part of my day. I usually have this friend that I spent most mornings with but tada she as absent so I was extremely bored that morning.
I opened my eyes at around 9:00 a.m.; I could not imagine that today was my graduation day. I was so excited to get ready for the day I had dreamt of for twelve years. I called my cousin Sandra to remind her to do my makeup because she is a makeup artist. I told her that I needed it to be flawless because I wanted this day to be complete in everyway. I took a shower to get ready for the hair salon because I was going to dye my hair red for the first time. I wanted a simple hairstyle; straight on top with curls at the bottom.
