A simple cookie cutter doesn't seem like it would have many uses other than to cut out a cookie, but if you have a basket or drawer full of wonderfully shaped cookie, don't keep them stashed away for a day of baking. Break them out and use them for anything from decorating to children's craft projects. We've put together several great ways to put your cookie to good use all year round. 1. Use your favorite to decorate your kitchen. You can display them on a plate rail or mount them directly to the wall in a pattern for a bit of rustic, down-home charm. You might also consider suspending one or two in each window from a thin strand of wire or twine. If you have curtains in your kitchen, slip a cookie cutter onto each tie back. The holidays give you lots of options for using cutters creatively. Tie a single cookie cutter onto each present in place of a gift tag. Choose that represent the person receiving the gift. For example, try an apple cookie cutter for your child's teacher, a megaphone for your cheerleader daughter and a cartoon favorite for your son. If you're giving a plate of cookies to someone this holiday season, add a finishing touch that will make it truly unique. Wrap the cookies in cellophane and tie it with a bright bow. String along with a card containing the recipe for the cookies so they can make more any time they like. 4. Don't just use your cookie cutters for cookies. Lie out some cookie cutters upside down on a cookie sheet and then pack them with fudge or Rice Krispy treats and allow to harden. When the candy is set just pop the cookie cutter full of yummy goodness into a bag and finish up with a ribbon. These are great party favors for a children's party. 5. Decorate a holiday wreath with candy canes, cinnamon sticks, small measuring spoons and a few Christmas cutters and then finish it off with a gingham bow for a sweet wreath that your friends will
If I wanted to cut a piece of paper that had three invoice slips on it into separate pieces, I would first look for a pair of scissors, as they are relatively safe and appropriate for the task. However if there are no scissors available, I may instead opt to use a ruler to tear the paper instead, as although it is not the most appropriate tool for the task, in the situation it would be time and cost effective. It also doesn’t matter too much if the edges are jagged on an invoice slip. If I had to cut something in a more presentable way I may have to take the less efficient option and check with another department to see if they had scissors I could use.
up the cake into the form of a jelly roll. Next, you can either refrigerate this roll for one
Cookies are traditionally made by combining the ingredients listed and adding something like chocolate or nuts. The cookies are then baked at around 375 degrees for about eight minutes or until they are golden brown. They are then allowed to cool and then they are served.

The possible chance an athlete can win a gold medal at the Olympics motivates them to train and work hard for it before the competition. Just like an athlete is motivated by a gold medal, the characters in the two short stories “The Lottery” and “The Night Drive” are motivated by different forces. What forces in “The Lottery” and “The Night Drive” motivate characters to act as they do in these two short stories? Fear and stress are the first forces that motivate the characters in “The Night Drive”. “She pressed on the accelerator and found herself offering an agonized prayer that the man beside her in a woman’s dress wouldn’t notice until she had caught up with it.”
Suddenly you hear a crack. You look over and see an ornament that had fallen off the tree and was pulverized. “Dang it,” you mumble as you go to get the broom and dustpan. “Should’ve bought some ornament hooks.” That is a situation you do not want to happen to you. The slice of cake symbolizes Jem maturing and becoming a young adult. “There should have been three little ones. It was not like Miss. Maudie to forget Dill, and we must have shown it.” Scout conveys, “But we understood it when she cut from the big cake and gave the slice to Jem,” (TKAM 288).
Christmas is almost here again, but have you ever thought how odd some of the holiday traditions are and how they became so popular? A Tradition to Change: the Christmas Tree Each year many families participate into the agiotage around the purchase, delivery and an installation of the Christmas tree. This is an international tradition, which exists for ages. The Christmas tree is represented as a symbol of the holiday, cheerful mood, amusement and a final destination for the Santa Claus’s presents. To achieve this atmosphere, many people strive to by a real pine or fir, get permission to cut it themselves or obtain the tree illegally. Smaller part of the population prefers to decorate fake trees.
The materials used for my project, include: a sweatshirt, twizzlers, and glue. I came up with the idea of gluing the twizzlers to the sweatshirt. When I first began this project, I did not count on being faced with any problems. I thought that I would just glue tiny pieces of cut up twizzler to the sweatshirt and that would be that. The first problem that I faced was: the candy would not stick to the sweatshirt. For whatever reason, the glue was not able to hold the twizzler pieces to the front of the sweatshirt. This definitely prolonged the gluing process. Once this problem had arisen, I went back to try to think of what I would be able to use to glue this candy to. I tried two different things. The first, a sheet. The problems with that was, that the sheet was so flimsy, that when I went to hold it up (like I was going to show it to someone), the candy pieces fell off. The second thing I attempted was a bath towel. The issue with that, was it was too thick. The pieces of candy stayed glued, but the end presentation was not something that I would have been proud to show to the class.
