(1)I’m comparing the differences and the similarities of communication between The United States and Great Britain. Both of the countries speak English they both will have a lot of similarities. Because the United States originated from Great Britain so there will be a lot cross over from Great Britain to the United States. Between both of the countries I will be considering areas from general communication, accents and different meanings. As well as nonverbal communication and just the way the whole cultures and traditions act between each other. What is a culture, a culture is the way a group of people behave and communicate with each other. (2)I would characterize The United States, as more of an individualistic culture. It is widely diverse and multicultural. That relies heavy on personal goals that allow people to go for personal achievement. But at the same time work together to make this country great, also battles with other cultural coming into this country. I think the one thing you think when you say United States that we are hardworking people that we go after what we want to make great things happen and make advances in this country.
Now when you think of Great Britain I think of people that don’t things done on their own. They needed our help during WW2. Also that they don’t believe in violence with England not allowing guns, even though much of their country is built on violence in history. Also that they speaking in different ways and dialogue then we do. That they speak in such a polite manner compared to the United States you can say we speak in such a hateful and rude manner at
