What if I told you that right now someone was deciding, without even knowing you, whether you would live or die? What if I told you that this choice wouldn’t be based on what you could or couldn’t do, it wouldn’t be based on what you have done in the past or what you will do in the future? And what if I told you that there was nothing that you could do to change their mind? That choice is abortion, and that someone is a child’s mother. Millions of innocent children die every year simply because they can’t speak for themselves, the unborn are humans and we can’t continue to take their rights away.
Abortion is the removal of an embryo from the uterus on, purpose. In the US there are two categories of abortion. The first category of abortion is the in the clinic, there are two different types of in the clinic abortions. The first type is called an aspiration, an aspiration is when a doctor takes a vacuum that is attached to a syringe and the vacuum sucks everything out of the uterus in pieces. Aspirations are performed when a woman has been pregnant for less than 16 weeks. The second kind of “in the clinic” abortion is called a dilation and evacuation, this is when forceps are used to dismember the child’s body. Dilation and evacuations are performed when a woman is more that 16 weeks pregnant. The second category of abortion is the abortion pill. This pill is called Mifepristone, it is taken within the first 9 weeks of pregnancy.
I know many people say that it is a woman’s choice to have an abortion, after all having a baby dramatically impacts her life, but I’m not asking you to think about the woman’s rights, I’m asking you to think about the child’s rights that were never given to it. The woman had a choice, not to ha...

As to any argument, there are two opposing sides when it comes to the matter of abortions. These two opposers usually refer to themselves as “pro-life” and “pro choice”. Pro-life supporters maintain that abortion is wrong and pro-choice believe that it is a woman’s freedom to choose her pregnancy decisions. When it comes to the topic of abortions, most of us will readily agree that it’s a woman’s choice to decide what her reproductive decisions are, i.e. pro-choice. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is in the question of whether or not abortion is a fundamental right granted to women by the Constitution. Whereas some are convinced that a fetus is considered alive at conception, usually citing the word of God, others maintain that

In the article “All Abortions Must Be Illegal” the president of the American Life Judie Brown and the director of public Relations for American Life League says “All choices should not be legal or protected, and abortion is one that should not be legal. Allowing abortion in cases of rape or incest punishes the innocent child more than the guilty rapist”. The question is “Who should make the choice to kill preborn babies?” the answer is “Nobody”. Therefore, most women "choice" abortion precisely because they believe they have no other choice.” Abortion has change in our society today now because the women have the right to choose to abort or having the baby. Abortion is a medical or surgical procedure that ends a pregnancy.

Abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy that does not end in birth of a child. There are two types of abortion-medical abortion and surgical abortion. Medical abortion can be done before 49 days of pregnancy by using pharmaceutical drugs. Surgical abortion takes place by using surgical instruments between 6-14 weeks of pregnancy. Both methods are safe. It depends on the size of fetus and week of pregnancy. An abortion, which is the removal of a fetus from a woman’s body, should be allowed because of women’ s freedom, life opportunities and victim protection.
Abortion continues to be a controversial topic now forty years after the U.S. Supreme Court found it to be a fundamental right in the historic Roe vs. Wade decision. Much of the debate claims to be founded upon scientific or constitutional issues. When examined closely this is just not true.
When human life becomes an option, that is when morality kicks in and the debates start. Human life is optional when abortion is in the scene, which is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. In 1973, abortion became legal in the United States, with each state having their specific guidelines to go along with it. Most states have restrictions on the time frame in which the termination can take place, normally between the first 6-28 weeks, while some have no time restrictions (Abortion Restrictions in States). Although this procedure is legalized, it is by no means close to being socially acceptable. Abortion is one of the most sensitive and controversial issues in today’s world because all lives are meant to be valued; when a
There are many methods of abortion that have come to be over centuries, but most were quite dangerous, and some inhumane. There are only two methods of abortion that are legal in the United States which are "in- clinic" abortions and the "abortion pill". There is more than one method of in- clinic abortion, but the most common one is called "aspiration" (a. k. a. vacuum aspiration). This method is when a hand- held suction device empties the uterus and sometimes also uses a curette to remove any remaining tissue in the uterus. It is usually used only until up to sixteen weeks after a woman's last period. "Dialation an...

The permissibility of abortion has been a crucial topic for debates for many years. People have yet to agree upon a stance on whether abortion is morally just. This country is divided into two groups, believers in a woman’s choice to have an abortion and those who stand for the fetus’s right to live. More commonly these stances are labeled as pro-choice and pro-life. The traditional argument for each side is based upon whether a fetus has a right to life. Complications occur because the qualifications of what gives something a right to life is not agreed upon. The pro-choice argument asserts that only people, not fetuses, have a right to life. The pro-life argument claims that fetuses are human beings and therefore they have a right to life. Philosopher, Judith Jarvis Thomson, rejects this traditional reasoning because the right of the mother is not brought into consideration. Thomson prepares two theses to explain her reasoning for being pro-choice; “A right to life does not entail the right to use your body to stay alive” and “In the majority of cases it is not morally required that you carry a fetus to term.”
On average, about 1.21 million abortions are executed annually from unintended pregnancies. Many people believe that a woman should have the choice to abort the life that she created. But they do not take into consideration that the word unintended essentially means accidental. Most people do not look ahead before they do something. Why should a baby’s choice of life be taken away when they did not have the choice to be created. It wasn’t their mistake that they were created. Once life is established, it should not be destroyed. Abortion should be illegal because it is a form of murder, there are lots of alternatives to abortion and many ways to prevent pregnancy, and because a woman’s physical and psychological health can be damaged in and after the process.

Abortion is an extremely controversial issue and one that is continually on the forefront of debates. Those who oppose the idea (Pro-lifers), thinks it is an act of woman playing “God” who live from who dies. Yet, whether an unborn baby constitutes a normal person is questionable; a pregnant woman, on the other hand, has the undeniable right to choose whether she wants to have a child or not. Therefore, the decision to have an abortion is the personal choice and responsibility of the woman, because prohibiting abortion impedes freedom of choice and endangers the physical and mental health of women.
