Do you know that it's possible to get paid for surveys? Not all of these requests for filling in surveys are scams sent to try your patience and the size of your email box. Not all of the colorful request surveys sent into your mailbox are junk mail. There are many of these which are vehicles upon which to voice your opinion about things -whilst getting paid at the same time.
Whilst you can get paid for surveys, don't always expect money however. Sometimes it could be that the "pay" is in the DVD or book you are asked to review for the survey. Sometimes it could simply be the chance to win a lottery prize. There are also the free surveys where you are asked for your opinion but are told that all you will receive is the thanks of the business issuing the survey! Whether or not you choose to do these surveys is a matter of personal choice, with most people it very much depends as to how invested they are in the product or service the free survey is about.

Well yes, most of them are. After all why wouldn't they be? All they are taking from you is your registration information and the time it takes to say how you feel about a client's product or service. If they ask you for money, then move on to the next survey company - you are providing the opinion that someone else needs, you shouldn't be paying to give this! If you read the survey company's promotional material, and you get a bad feeling about it, then you should also move on. Although most of them are perfectly legal and offering a good service to businesses across many different sectors, like in all other parts of your life, you need to be looking out for the ones that are out to scam you. Once you find a good survey company, keep with it as many of them have better perks for those with long term commitment. You might not only get paid for your opinion, but also paid for any other survey responders you bring to the company through affiliate
Marketing students in specific classes created surveys using Qualtrics; the best questions from these surveys were aggregated by the professors and then administered via email in a convenience sampling method. This means students and professors emailed the survey to other students at Suffolk, students at other schools, friends, and others. The survey information was collected for a period of a couple weeks before being inactive. The results of the survey were then gathered by the professors and properly put into the statistical software SPSS for analysis. The graphs below show a demographic overview of the respondents to give a better understanding of the
Can you imagine having a job for nine months out of the year that makes you work from 8:15 AM until 3:30 PM on every weekday and not getting paid for all of your hard, tedious work? To most of you that sounds ridiculous. That’s because it is. Students have to go through this painful process from September to May and usually don’t have anything to show for it. They dedicate their whole lives to getting all A’s on their report card and when they finally do all they usually get is a pat on the back. Thus, students should get paid for having good grades because it takes lots of hard work to get those grades, it would cause more students to strive for good grades, and it would eliminate the need for a job, which would allow for more studying time.
In order to design a quality survey it is important that the questions are worded so that the group you are targeting can easily understand what you are asking. Jargon must be avoided at all costs. Depending upon your study, answer choices must be available for all types of situation or categories. When asking open ended questions that require a typed response be sure to address only one topic through the question. It is not a quality question if you’re asking someone to describe the positive and negative aspects of their job within the same question. Questions need to be direct and specific. When providing someone with a survey the directions and the purpose of the survey must be clearly stated prior to beginning the survey. To boost participation make sure the directions or the description provides information as to why this survey is beneficial and what the results are going to be used for.
In conclusion, exploiting research participants and conducting studies that are blatantly unethical is fortunately no longer being done. Although ethics codes, principles, and strict regulations have evolved over time, it is a continuous process that should never go by the wayside.
Once the surveys are returned to the company, they are returned to the Customer Satisfaction Action Team. This team reviews the surveys, separates them by employee and then by the results.. The results are separated by “Excellent” and “Very Good” and then “Fair” and “Poor” marks. The card members that score a “Fair” or “Poor” mark on the survey is called back by one of the team members and the issue is discussed further to find out why the survey was marked that way. The comments that the card members make on the surveys are returned to the employee’s team leaders. The team leader gives the feedback to the employee and discusses with them their best practices or opportunities that need to be worked on.
In the article “As He Promotes it, Some Question Obama’s Free Community College Idea” written by Joanne Jacobs on Feb 23,2015 goes in detail on Obama’s plan about community college being free and the pros and con , and what people think about it. Many of the people who think it's a bad idea are low income students' attending community college and then the people who agree with this plan are people who are most likely middle class because they're either professors and scholars who attend Stanford or Harvard. In this situation, I think it better to go with the people who are attending community and know how the whole business is of attending it and stick on their side not on a side where people who are attending already

They are used during government elections, medical research studies and so on. Obviously, we think of how this system can be flawed and possibly rigged to give a false outcome. Huff made some points in his book “How to lie with statistics” that we may not have considered to be true during a government election, he said “Some of the strongest feeling against public-opinion polls is found in liberal or left-wing circles, where it is rather commonly believed that polls are generally rigged.” (pg.26) Huff went on to say “Behind this view is the fact that poll results so often fail to square with the opinions and desires of those whose thinking is not in the conservative direction.” (pg.26)
I do not believe that college should be free at all and it should just stay as it is right now maybe go down a little with the prices but that will be about it. The reasons I believe that people should pay for college are because if its free many people might not take it as seriously as they do right now. Another reason will be because Universities and Colleges need money in order to stay open and completely functioning the only way this can happen is if people pay for College in order for them to exist. I believe that people should pay for college in order for it to run properly and be taken seriously by everyone.
