Should You Be Selective Exclusion?

Exclusion is a common alienation tactic that involves the usual rejection of person(s) from a group. It is commonly used as a way of bullying. Sometimes the exclusion is done intentionally, or other times it can be done unintentionally. Those who alienate others through exclusion often do not realise that the person(s) wanting to be in the group actually are interested in being a part of it. The purposeful form is more commonly used form of exclusion. People who use this strategy will purposefully exclude others from things. I believe this form of exclusion brings with it many negative byproducts. This form can make others feel alienated, lonely, and other negative things. That is why I try not to use this form. Inclusion is usually done by genuinely kind people, but can also be done to accomplish certain things that others may not be able to. Majoritively this is used to yield a positive impact on others involved, and its always good and fun to meet new people. Inclusion is one of the best methods I believe, and one of the most positively impactful as well. Being social around others, even if you do not know them very well, I Believe is a good thing. It makes others more comfortable around you. Inclusion is truly the door to creating relations with others if you think about it. If we were to exclude everyone we wouldn't have anyone, yet through inclusion throughout our lives, we have created many healthy relationships with others. The act of putting down others is a negative action that brings with it negative byproducts. This act can also make others feel alienated, sad, and other negative emotions. Put downs can be used in serious situations in which the put downs would be classified as bullying, or they can be used as a form of banter among friends and in that case would most likely not have been meant literally and in which those receiving the comments would most likely think of them as non-literal remarks. Forms of building others up could include compliments, inclusion, and other positive things. You don't need to know a person well to compliment them, in most cases they will react positively, as it is much more common that people will put down others than build them up; which in itself is kind of saddening to see. While building up others can be a very good thing, building up yourself in a verbal manner can be thought of as selfish and arrogant. It can also make others believe you are cocky. Cockiness is but a mirage of false confidence. And cockiness is not perceived positively most of the time by others. The cockiness that comes from building yourself up verbally usually has a negative effect and can even cause others to use put downs. Of course building confidence in yourself is a great thing, however boasting about yourself is how the cockiness may show itself to others. Building people up can be very helpful if you ever see anyone feeling a bit down or sad. It can make their day and can impact their lives in a positive way. It can also create relations with
