According to an article of Forbes, “Most American are unhappy at work.” Why are most workers unfulfilled their satisfy of jobs? Working is like volunteer exchange. Companies pay salary to workers, and workers bring benefits and performances to companies. By this concept, many workers probably get a great deal of stress. Furthermore, today, average work hours per week is 47 hours. Workers spend 8 to 9 hours per day if it is assumed that workers work during the weekdays only. It seems people devote themselves to the works by giving up their personal time. However, they might not receive compensation as much as they invest their time on work. That is why most American are in dissatisfaction at their work. Therefore, workers should not spend their precious life to work for three significant reasons which are serious health problem, no personal life, and hard work with less reward. Their body and mind are always in works to earn income because they have a responsibility to support their family or for future life. Therefore, some workers would think having personal time is a bit of an extravagance, so they decide to give up having extracurricular activities and invest their time to work to be promoted and get a higher salary. For example, in my memory, my mother, Jongsoon Youn, was really a hard worker. She did not spend time with my brother, sister and me because she always came back home at midnight. I thought she loved her job. However, when I grew up and had the ability to think deeply, I realized that my mother wanted to hang out with her friends and family and have time of her own, but she had to give up her personal life to support the family.
