Should Donald Trump Become President? How would it feel to wake up every morning and know that Donald Trump was the leader of the nation, And that one day he would run this country into the ground. If Donald Trump becomes president he will build a wall, try to get rid of obamacare, will ruin this country and will probably be the cause of World War 3 in my opinion. Donald trump altogether is just not a good person and is selfish and likes to get what he wants. So if he wins this is one more thing that he gets, while there are other people that 1. Deserve this more than him. 2. Will do their best to make sure america stays great. And 3. Makes sure everyone is equal and keeps the freedom that everyone in the military branches fought so hard to …show more content…
According to usatoday, it stated that in 2006 Donald trump wanted people to lose their houses so “people like him” can go in and buy them and make more money. He says that everything he gets he earns, but how is he earning it? By insulting people and having nice fancy stuff. I think that he is very egotistic because he is rich. On January 23rd 2016 Donald Trump said “I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot someone and I wouldn't loose any voters” I don't know about the rest of America but I absolutely do not want someone like him representing our nation. Another reason is that he is so disrespectful to everyone who's not “important” to him. If someone isn't higher class or has no value to him he is very rude to them. I believe that if he wants to be president of a country that gives everyone equal rights and freedom but he act better than others like he has more power that's not right. Furthermore, he says he wants to make america great again yet running for president and will most likely end up destroying this country. I believe that if what he claims is true about making america great again then he will stop running for president and get out of the country and
The article “Luxury Shame,” written by Johnnie Roberts describes how and why the rich are scaling back on their extravagant expenditures. Initially, I was annoyed and shocked at how the very rich were assimilating their unfamiliar experiences of “recessionary times,” with those that experienced the emotions of poverty. Roberts explains the ostentatious life of multimillionaire Michael Hirtenstein, who would routinely and openly show off his profitable real estate collection. After the economy took a turbulent downfall, Hirstenstein and other wealthy Americans began to feel the shame or embarrassment of flaunting their wealth. Despite the “halt” to the economy, Hirstenstein became frugal with his money, even though he could have easily bought whatever he wanted.
The “President’s address to the Nation” is a claim of policy. President Bush is asking people to support his policy that “we” have to keep fighting the war “until either we or the extremists emerge victorious.” To hold up his claim of such a policy, he uses three supports during the speech.
He implements this emotional appeal into his speech to involve all Americans—people living in the United States of America, regardless of their ethnicity, race, or culture, and to acknowledge that the American people have endured this together, and that they will continue to advance after this event with stronger resolve, stronger than ever. In addition, he implements personification to motivate and empower the American people. “Our nation, this generation, will lift a dark threat of violence from our people and our future” (Bush, 2001). “This generation”, again a synonym for the American people, with its unwavering resolve, will fight for its freedom persistently. He intimates that the future of America and of democratic freedom is in the hands of the American people; that the American people have the power to control their fate.
of patriotism in his speech. He wants America to be proud even in the face of
He uses allusion and repetition of words to prove his points about racial discrimination. His main goal is for the country to stay united and put discrimination aside, and continue the path of the ones who came before us. Obama alludes to the civil war by saying,” continue the long march” which illustrates the march that the north did to the south to stop race discrimination, as well as the fact how the north opposed with slavery and wanted to make south stop (1). The other device he uses in his speech was the repetition of words by using the word “more” to express his main goal and focus. Although the country is so called “free” his main goal is still to improve America in every way possible and put race discrimination completely aside. In the speech, he expresses his tone by saying,” more just, more equal, more free, more caring, and more prosperous America.” Which goes to the fact that he is trying to even improve America more in every way possible. If we improve our country even more, then we will not be having any issues in our
Due to Donald Trump’s lack of political experience, preoccupation with multiple careers, and blatantly self-serving intentions, he should not ever have been considered a reasonable candidate for the presidential election.
he has a large mansion, drives flashy cars, and gives extravagant parties, he has amassed
While Donald Trump is a billion dollar business tycoon and he's known for his shrewd dealings as a real estate mogul, he still wants to run for President of the United States. The mogul has popularity among the rich and famous for his business-style leadership and will use this to his advantage to gain votes and supporters. In my opinion, Donald Trump is a confrontational and brazen individual. He seems to treat his candidacy with the same unethical attitude that is used in his line of business.
Donald Trump has brought up some good points during his campaign running but that still doesn’t stop him from being an arrogant guy running for president. He states “Stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons,” that’s a great idea but how is he going to stop that from happening. He can’t stop say stop and expects it to be done, he has to think about his plans and how he is thinking of stopping Iran.
“Make America Great Again,” the campaign slogan know all around the world that is determined to change the face of 2016 election when sixty nine year old Donald John Trump is elected. In 2004, the federal debt was $7.3 trillion. This rose to $10 trillion when the housing bubble burst four years later. Today it exceeds $18 trillion and is projected to approach $21 trillion by 2019. Debt is not the only the thing the United States has been dealing within the past years, such as immigration, abortion, guns, foreign policy, taxes, along with numerous other topics, yet Trump has a way to solve the unsolved and yes, “Make America Great Again.”
American wanted him to be president so here you go Donald Trump will be in office coming January 2017. Do I think he should be president? No but did I want Hilary to be president? Hell no! Donald Trump is wrong in so many ways when he says things but I will rather have that then someone I feel owes lots of people in this world many of favors. Honestly the only thing I like about Trump is that he is somewhat a businessman. I know everyone says it but it’s honestly true, the guy is good at what he does. I fell though as in since America is in tremendous debt Trump can use his businessman ability to dig us out of this hole that we are in or he can just possibly make it worst. I don’t think everyone wants to give him a chance to actually prove
The United States of America is known as the nation of freedom, a place to make dreams come true, and where equal rights are followed. However, our education in history shows a different perspective. The citizens have had a complicated time convincing the mind of Congress on modifying the rights of the people. Before, women could not vote to choose the future of America, yet after many marches, the women who rose up to speak with great fervor accomplished their goal of making it possible for women to vote. The Presidential Election is a time for people to vote for the leader of the country. As I turn 18 yrs old, I have the opportunity to vote for this country’s future. What led me to the desire of voting was hearing Donald Trump’s negative
"Our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand."(EternalMedia, 2008) Those words are from Obama's aspiring, and emotional speech. Following the victory establishing trust and gathering all the factions of the citizens around the president was a necessity. In his home city Chicago Obama gave his victory speech that was a great sign to express his loyalty to his people and to the Americans as a metaphor. (240,000 pack Grant Park for election rally, 2008 ) Winning the election was the big event and the main reason
Justin Bieber has been on the brain of many people's brains on whether or not he should be deported from the United States due to some of his recent problems with his life. Now there are arguments to why Justin should be deported but there are reasons to why he shouldn't which is what I'm here to discuss. Justin Bieber should not be removed from the country back to Canada. Justin Bieber may have had his run-ins with the law, but I personally think that he is being unfairly judged. He is a young teen celebrity which are bound to make mistakes due to young age.
Imagine a man like this running our country, he doesn't know nor has ever been in our shoes to feel
