Children in this world should be vaccinated because it doesn’t put just themselves in danger of getting illnesses but also others that are around your child or where your child has been. Did you know that there has been a recent outbreak of the Measles disease in the past few years? Well, the only way to prevent you and your children from getting this highly contagious disease is by getting vaccinated. There has been new waves of parents who don’t want to vaccinate their children for various reasons such as it puts their children at risk of getting autism or make their own kids sick. “When people don't vaccinate their children, they increase the risk for people in the population who can't be vaccinated, such as infants under age 1, children and adults with weak immune systems and people with cancer”.(Wallace). All of you know that diseases and illnesses have always been an issue in our world but you can put a stop to it if you don’t make your child contagious by getting them vaccinated so others who go the same places that you go and touch the things that your child touches would help everyone. Even though you would be doing something small in the world it would make a huge difference. The best protection, of course, is prevention -- the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, which has a more than 95 percent efficacy rate that, when combined with high rates of vaccination, keeps the measles at bay.(Kids Search). If our society as a whole can work together and keep diseases such as the measles at bay for as long as we can. That would be amazing because we are still preventing others from getting the measles. All you have to do is vaccinate yourself and your children. The diseases can't spread when enough people are vaccinated against them. (Kids Search). This is the biggest part of preventing diseases from getting to others is because if you vaccinate you and your children then the quote is right. If enough people are protected from it because they are vaccinated then there would be nowhere for the vaccine to go.
