Elmer Mose Tyson was born in Bokchito, Oklahoma on July 28, 1915 to his parents Albert and Sara Tyson. He is the parental grandson of Noah and Mary Tyson and maternal grandson of Jacob and Henrietta Butler. Elmer will always be remembered for his devotion to God, multi-talents orchestra instruments, eye-catching Cadillacs and love for his family and friends. On May 14, 1987, Elmer departed life to join eternal life in Heaven. In honor of his memory, for the first time in near 30 years. Elmer’s magnetic recordings have been restored of his preaching and music. This CD is dedicated to his family.
Born in Waragee, 1947, the oldest of six siblings, Mcleod’s exact birth date is unknown. His father, Arthur, was a labourer, boxer and alcoholic. His mother was a housewife who was active at the local church. The church is where Mcleod first began to sing, in the little church choir of the town. The family moved to Sydney at some stage in Mcleod’s life, and he attended school at Nowra High School, where he topped in sports.
Buds mother never did directly tell Bud who his father was, but she did give him a lot of hints. She would always look at this blue flyer. Across the top of this flyer were the words "LIMITED ENGAGEMENT", then written below this in smaller letters it said, "Direct from an S.R.O. engagement in New York City". Under that in big letters again it said, "HERMAN E. CALLOWAY and the Dusky Devastators of the depression!!!!!!" Next it said, "Masters of the New Jazz". Then in the middle of the paper was a blurry picture of a man standing next to a giant fiddle. This man was thought to be Buds father, Herman E. Calloway.
Clarence Earl Gideon was born on August 30, 1910 in the state of Hannibal, Missouri. His father’s name was Charles Gideon and his mother’s was Virginia Gideon. In 1913 Charles Gideon died just a few days after the third birthday of Clarence. Virginia remarried a man named Marion Frances Anderson when he was five. After this second marriage Clarence became siblings with Roy E Ogden, his half-sister and a half-brother named Russell Lee Anderson. Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas. Growing up, he was the third of seven boys in a strict, religious family. In 1892, his family moved to Kansas where he spent the rest of his adolescent years. After being accepted into West Point in 1911, Eisenhower turned to sports to pass his time there. He joined the varsity football team, playing running back and linebacker (Banks 4). He graduated from West Point in the middle of his class, and with a less-than-average disciplinary rating. Six years after his graduation, he met his future wife Mamie Doud while stationed in Texas and married her in 1920.

Jesse Moncell Bethel was born in New York City, New York on July 8, 1922. He was born to Jesse M. Bethel and Ethel Williams. His father left the home when he was only six months old and his mother died when he was only three and a half years old. Being an orphan now, he was raised by his grandmother in Arkansas. He then moved to Oklahoma where his family sharecropped cotton and cornfields. Bethel attended elementary school while in Oklahoma and later graduated from Booker Washington High School there too. Bethel attended Tillotson College in Austin, Texas. He graduated there with a Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry. He later attended graduate school in 1944 at the University of California Berkley.

For many years after his death, Just’s work lay buried beneath a pile of other rising studies. Then, in 1983, with the publication of Kenneth R. Manning’s famous book, Black Apollo of Science: The Life of Ernest Everett Just, nearly 40 years after his death, Just’s work was brought into the biological community, and he was given international praise for his great research. Just pursued high education despite the challenges he faced. He was known for his extensive work in embryology and marine biology and his research laid a foundation for other works to build upon many years after his work was unearthed (Byrnes 1).
Jim Elliot was a Christian missionary to the Huaorani people in Ecuador. Elliot traveled with four other of his best friends who were called by God to evangelize. The Huaorani had virtually no contact with the civilized world, but what was known concerning them was that they were terribly hostile. Even still, Jim Elliot and his friends followed God's calling and in spite of the danger went to the Huaorani. At their arrival Jim Elliot and his friends were speared to death by the Huaorani. He is a mediocre student, he attended Lincoln school from grades 1-6. His favorite subjects were History and Plane Geometry. On March 18th, 1953 Penny Donald was born she was very quiet,shy, and loving. On May 23th, 1951 Dennis Maxwell was born he was very outgoing, social, and open. These two went to Westfield High school in 1969 together and never crossed path’s. On graduation night all seniors went to a party and Penny and Dennis met each other, they dated for a while, then eventually got married in 1981. Penny and Dennis Maxwell had a son in 1987 named Charles. Charles was born premature, he had to stay in the hospital for two weeks before he could go home. My dad was born on April 23, 1963 in Fresno, California to Richard and Betty Bunker. He was the last of their four children to born. His sibling’s names are Rodley, Carol, and Sue. Unfortunately, Sue died at the age of twenty-one in a car accident when my dad was thirteen. For grades 1st through 6th, my dad went to Easterby Elementary School in Fresno. Sterling Allen Brown was born on May 1st, 1901 to father, Sterling N. Brown and mother Grace Adelaide in Washington D.C (Tidwell). His mother was a schoolteacher and his father was an expert in theology and also a professor at Howard University.
