Sherry Wininger is a wonderful woman and I'm not only saying because she is my mom, To give an idea of what she looks like she has short, to shoulder length brown hair with blond highlights. Big Brown eyes, has glasses and contacts, she's about 5’8, and is in great shape, very built, and i'm proud to be her daughter, with that said Sherry likes to lift weights and run, and her kids got her in the show vampires diaries on Netflix so now she really likes to watch Netflix. She also likes positive people and I think everyone does because who would want to hang out with someone who is always negative and down. Adding on to that she also does not like coffee, which runs in the family because no one else in the family drinks it and she does not like cleaning! Sherry has a pretty good size family, she has four amazing kids. Three boys, Tyler, Ryan, and Kyle, …show more content…
and one little girl Katelynn.. Her and her husband John have been married for 29 years now and are still going strong. They provide my brothers and I with what we need in order to give us a great life. Sherry is the strongest women I know.
physically and mentally. Physically because she has always had the love to workout, it's just something that she has always enjoyed doing. She has completed two marathons, and has been doing CrossFit for three years and has gotten her kids into it. Sherry is mentally the strongest person I know because on April 5th, 1995 she lost her first born son Tyler. Tyler pasted away from Biliary Atresia, which means the bile ducts in his liver are either closed or missing, and bile cannot drain out his liver and into his intestine. Instead of just waiting around for an organ donor Sherry kept fighting and after a few found out she could give some of her liver to Tyler and try to save his life. The surgery was successful, but after a few months Tyler got very sick again and could not get better. What makes her so strong and my dad is that they went through it together. There a very high chance that parents divorced after they lose a child, but they were there for each other and that's good because then they had Ryan, Kyle and I. I hope that I can be as strong as my mom when I get
older Sherry is also a wonderful woman because you can go to her with whatever you need, whether it's talking complain or just flat out cry. She is always there to listen and give evidence, and endless love, and that is what everyone one wishes for in their moms. Sherry is great. Sherry is wonderful, She everything you could ever want and I would not trade her for anything. We get into arguments sometime, but we also figure things out together, and that is what makes our bond so great and powerful.

Image there was a career that revolved mainly around helping people; making sure they they have a place to sleep, food to eat, or just for moral support to motivate them to take that extra step. That career exists and it’s called social work. Social work is a job for advocates who help those lesser achieve whatever it is they need to live a better life. Today there are around 700,000 social workers in the field, but that wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Jane Addams (Boman 2). Jane Addams can be credited with starting the career of social work, and in the span of her life, has made many contributions to our society. Throughout her life Addams was the co-owner of the Hull House, a community home that housed immigrants, classes, and

One quality of my mom is how she can be both brave yet anxious. When she had cancer in 2012 most of my family panicked because we knew that if we lost her we would always be broken. However, Mom held us together like she always does and we somehow made it through the year with only a few breakdowns and crying. She is also
She values honesty in communication and she possesses the ability to be brutally honest with someone. She will come up to me and tell me her opinion if she believes that it might benefit me in some way. Another one of her values is appearance or beauty. She will spend hours picking the perfect outfit and doing her hair and makeup to perfection. She wakes up almost two hours earlier every day before school so that she will have enough time to get ready. Some people might think that she is conceited because of the focus on her looks, but she values the time that people put into their appearance as a reflection of their dedication. Her dedication to her appearance is something that she greatly values making her deserving of praise. How many other people could do what she does? Her passion and dedication is unrivaled by any other when it comes to her looks. She believes in the fact that one should always look one’s best and she puts in the effort every day regardless of any extemporaneous situations that might
I’ve seen my mother struggle, but smile through it all. She remained faithful and believed that God would work all things out for her. The amount my faith my mother possesses is amazing, and she has always instilled a sense of religion and spirituality into me and my brother’s lives. The things she have sacrificed for us is unbelievable and I have no choice but to be thankful. She has always stressed the importance of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, education, hard work, and perseverance. Along with our struggles were some fun times. We would do little shopping errands on weekends at Target and maybe the mall sometimes. She made birthdays and Christmas worth it every year. For our birthdays, my mom made sure we always at least had a cake or cupcakes if we had nothing else. And on Christmas day, she never promised us what we asked for, but somehow she always made sure we had exactly what we asked for and more. I admire my mom for this because she never set us up for a disappointment or a “let down,” and we learned the true meaning of Christmas. My little brother, who is now 17, is a handful. He has always been a character and can definitely get a laugh out of you. Being a big sister, I had to care for my brother at times when we were younger because my mom had to work. This helped surface my independence and reliability. He has helped me become more responsible for my actions and
middle of paper ... ... I honestly believe each of those individuals, along with myself, are much stronger people because of the obstacles we were faced with. My soccer career taught me to work hard, strive for success, and not to give up when things got tough.
Keith and Kenita Jensen are my parents and are phenomenal role models. They are kindhearted, responsible, and honorable people. Teaching me to be a successful rider, my Dad encouraged me to work harder and harder, therefore I have become competitive in the rodeo arena. With his encouragement I have endured the practice, feeding and tutoring required to become an accountable person.
My mother, Kari Jenson, is one of the most important people in my life. She gave birth to me, helped me learn to walk and so many other things that I find amazing. I cannot begin to fathom how much patience she had to have to deal with me all the time as a child. I’m sure she still has to have patience to deal with me now, but I imagine it was a lot more back then. She has molded me into the person I am today and I wouldn’t want it to be any different. She has always been supportive of everything I have tried from basketball to skateboarding and from football to paintball. Even though there are some things that I do she doesn’t like she usu...
This lady is the most wonderful person I 've ever met. She is old, affectionate, and intelligent. It took me eighteen years to realize how much this extraordinary person influenced my life. She 's the type of person who charms everyone with her stories and experiences. She always time for her family and friends. She is the kind of leader who does everything to keep her family together and in harmony. She is my grandmother.
Strength is not about being a tough guy and being able to bench two hundred pounds. It is okay to be strong and still be scared. People can cry and still be strong. To be strong is not just about having a hard exterior. Strength is being able to overcome the problems life will throws at humanity, and society needs true personal, mental, and spiritual strength to overcome it. Strength comes in many forms but, all kinds of strengths are good. Strength is having the capability to overcome any challenge that is faced in life. Strength is to never give up.
She could explain anything to me and I would understand straight away. She helped a lot for my education and always was there to help. My parents knew that she could teach me and show how hard it is these days and how hard I should work. That is why they always made sure I saw her enough but it never was for me.
... they need. She has volunteered at homeless shelters and worked with the mentally disabled. She gives any clothes or items that we no longe need to the orphanage in Mexico. She always puts others first and I am proud to say that my mother has worked very hard and came a long way. She does no know the words “give up”. If there’s anything she has in abundance, it is perseverance; most importantly, she is able to see the potential in me and gives me the courage to do the things I hesitate to do.
Nursing is constantly changing, improving, and becoming more complex with each year that goes by. It is for this reason that there is an incredible distance between what nursing was then and what nursing is now. Nightingale lived from 1810-1910, with her improvements and contributions the Lady with the Lamp became a turning point of nursing at that time, which led to the many improvements which gained her another name as the Mother of Modern Nursing. If Florence Nightingale were to experience Nursing as it was today in 2017 she would be astonished by the changes in ethical, legal, professional, and knowledge of the old ways.
My mother is the strongest woman I know, no matter what the situation is she always has held her head high. My mother has instilled in me that no matter what the situation is a can get through whatever is thrown my way. This has helped me more in my adult life than it did in my childhood because as a child I did not fully understand certain things that I understand now.
