In life, every person suffered from one thing in particular. Everyone has an issue of selfishness. Selfishness shows signs of weakness and people are haunted by the fear of loss of control. Selfishness: Lacking consideration for others, concerned chiefly with ones own personal profit or pleasure. It brings the urge to put needs and goals of your own before those who really need it most. So the questions stands, how can we solve the problem of selfishness. This problem involves everyone around the world. There is several causes why this problem exists in the world. As humans, everyone is a little selfish sometimes it's our sinful nature we hold inside of us. We can't completely erase the situation but we definitely have the power to make it better. Discipline and accountability others can give to us will make a difference, and exposure to Christ will also make it less of a situation. We all suffer from selfishness in our lives, but with those around us holding us accountable will make it better. And if exposure to Christ was available to everyone we would all hold the knowledge and confidence in who we are as humans, who we are in Christ, and where we are going one day after we leave this earth. John 13:3-5 says, "Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God, rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him."
