Introduction
The scientist-practitioners are psychologists leaning on the practitioners and scientist side. They are referred to as scientist-practitioners because they are trained according the Scientist–Practitioner Model and apply ideas and techniques trying to help or heal people by employing scientifically proven techniques and ideas (Hays-Thomas, 2002).
Scientist-practitioners are a result of the Scientist–Practitioner Model formulated during the Boulder conference Graduate Education in Clinical
Psychology in 1949 mainly for training of graduate psychology and clinical students (Benjamin & Baker, 2000; Hays-Thomas, 2002).
The conference led to the development of an training and education

Management and presentation of data from research reports is significant as it enables the validation of the reports and assessment methods on a scientific level by accredited and recognized psychology bodies (Lane &
Corrie, 2006).
Data presentation and management helps to maintain the integrity of information and data provided in that it provides completeness and accuracy (Chang, Lee & Hargreaves, 2008).

Relevance of Research Report Data
Management and Presentation...
Data presentation of research reports enables other scientist-practitioners and all psychologist as a whole to view the data available concerning the assessment techniques and procedures that are effective and also seek opinions from experts in the field (Lane & Corrie, 2006).
Data presentation assist in provision of brief descriptions of the frameworks and structures of the research report that is survey design and experiments used in the research report (Lane & Corrie, 2006).

In conclusion, the role of the scientist practitioner to the health sector is without a doubt significantly relevant and mostly to the
In this post I will explain my understanding of the McClintock Scholar-Practitioner model as well as the Practitioner-Scholar expectations, specifically here at Capella University. As I compared McClintock’s Scholar-Practitioner model and Capella’s Scholar-Practitioner Learning Model, I learned much in regards to the role of each. After analyzing the Capella’s Scholar-Practitioner Model, I found that there are evident levels in learning. Looking at the learner’s side of the Scholar-Practitioner Continuum, there are distinct roles aligned with the direction of the continuum. It starts with the Reflective-Practitioner, at the Baccalaureate Level. Next on the Continuum is the Practitioner-Scholar at the Master’s Level. At this level Capella graduate
Which also includes experimental knowledge, and is driven by personal values, commitment, and ethical conduct. Scholar-practitioners reflect and assess the impact of their work. Someday I will be a scholar-practitioner as a counselor in forensic psychology within the judicial system; when I am established and at the pinnacle of my career (Capella, 2015). As a counselor practitioner-scholar, I would like to make an impact on children and families who suffer from abuse in one form or the other, and possible child custody cases. Children should have voice in their living
CHAPTER II METHODS Participants Forty members of a Research Methods in Psychology course at the University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) served as participants in this examination. These participants were recruited within their respective laboratory periods. No money was awarded to the subjects for their participation.
Nursing is ever-evolving. Healthcare in general is becoming more sophisticated, which requires an increase in knowledge and education, as well as the need for nursing staff to be able to think critically. As medical advances are at an all-time high, reimbursement from state and private insurance has decreased. These factors lead to a greater need of autonomy and evidence-based research by RN’s (Huston, 2014)
...the data did not involve member checking thus reducing its robustness and enable to exclude researcher’s bias. Although a constant comparative method was evident in the discussion which improved the plausibility of the final findings. Themes identified were well corroborated but not declared was anytime a point of theoretical saturation Thus, the published report was found to be particularly strong in the area of believability and dependability; less strong in the area of transferability; and is weak in the area of credibility and confirmability, although, editorial limitations can be a barrier in providing a detailed account (Craig & Smyth, 2007; Ryan, Coughlan, & Cronin, 2007).

In conclusion, the clinical and statistical approaches in psychology can be beneficial to clinicians depending on the types of situations or specific areas that are being observed. As I mentioned earlier in my paper, the statistical method is useful when results are large and from heterogeneous samples and when they pertain to objective and specific areas. The clinical approach is beneficial in circumstances where situations are unforeseen rendering statistical tests moot. In addition, they are also useful when the interest in an individual case is high. Due to each individual being different and unique in their own way, I believe that clinicians should not rely heavily on statistical predictions and prepackaged treatments as opposed to clinical judgment and individual patients.
Like any other science, psychology is concerned with theories and data. Psychologists use a wide range of research methods and techniques that allow them to gather and make sense of the data that they produce. The methods that psychologists use to research and analyse the experience and behaviours of individuals or groups are called psychological research methods. This essay will be investigating and analysing three research methods to include; experimental, observational and surveys, also, reflecting on their strengths and weaknesses of each in addition to their usefulness in the psychology field.
...ion, assessment, and treatment .Using research helps to understand human behavior but also to develop assessment techniques and treatment strategies. “Psychologists are not just practitioners who conduct psychotherapy but investigators who conduct research.” (Plante, 2005)
