Because predators think this, all zebra’s have a layer of fat which makes them look healthy and fit. They also have a thin fur coat which makes them all look the same so a predator can not pick out the weakest one. This fur coat does not just make them look the same but it also helps them stay cool in scorching, hot weather.
Alteration of the biome
People are using and altering the savanna biome in many different ways. This includes making savanna’s smaller and using the area for new industrializations. People are using the savanna for tourist attractions. As we, people are using the savannas’ for tourist attractions we are polluting the savanna’s all across the world.
The savanna biome has also been altered by us, human by living in this biome. The people of Africa use the Savanna by not just living there but also by letting their cattle feed off the plants of the savanna. What is a biome? Biomes are major life zones characterized by vegetation type or by the physical environment. Climate plays a role in determining the nature and location of Earth’s biomes. Texas has 10 different ecosystems with lots of diversity. Minnesota has 4 different ecosystems which are also quite diverse. Regardless of the size of the biomes or the number of biomes in each state, they are all important not just to the locate environment but on a global level because of the life they support. We are going to take a look at the different biomes, comparing climate and rainfall, as well as vegetation fauna.
Humans have almost nothing in common with any surviving mammals of the savanna. Most mammals of hot, dry climates do not rely heavily on water for survival. They have a high tolerance to heat, and their body temperatures can fluctuate more than 6oC between day and night. They can bear a dehydration of 20%, whereas 10% or more would be fatal to humans. What little they do drink or consume naturally through food, is conserved because they do not sweat. Temperate grassland biomes can be found in North America, Africa, the pampas of South America and many parts of Eurasia. Grass is the main plant in Temperate Grassland biomes, trees and shrubs are rare to see in this type of biome. Temperate grasslands also have an extremely high abundance of wildlife. The wildlife living in this biome includes bison and pronghorn sheep, but mainly the animals most affected were the cattle and horses that lived on the surrounding farms.
The biome I have chosen is the temperate rain forest. These types of forest are homes to a few and very amazing species . The temperate rain forest are mainly made of conifer trees. They also receive high rainfall every year. The average amount of rainfall it gets is 140 centimeters, or 55 inches a year. That is a total amount of 4.58333… feet in year-round rainfall.

In clear perspective, humans share from both sides and their ecological footprint is noted towards whether it will benefit or harm the environment around them. Topics such as overpopulation, pollution, biomagnification, and deforestation are all human impacted and can harm the environment, but some include benefits into helping the world around us with solutions to their problems.

Destroying habitats and building them for our own use can have a positive impact on our way of living but a negative impact on the environment. We would gain land for building land for crops and communities to be built. The habitat for the animals would be destroyed and the species local to the land would either relocate or die. Since the beginning of human life, human beings have been changing land use for farming. By using their enormous size they have allowed sunlight through the clearing of trees, through their tremendous weight they have created a large hole in the ground with a single footprint large enough to support a small habitat with prey, and, with their sheer tusk strength they are able to dig into dry riverbeds thus providing water. It is necessary to ensure the safety and survival of elephants by creating the proper conservation area without any human intrusions.
