Tiffany, I hope you are having a wonderful second week of class. I was not familiar with the Canterbury Tales before this class. After reading The Miller's Tale along with a few others, I an enjoying them. I agree with your take on the humor and form Chaucer uses in The Miller's Tale. The use of satire in The Miller's Tale is effective for the tone of the tale. I like the examples you gave from the text of the tale. I found certain lines in the tale more humorous than others. John was more dipicted as the fool in this tale and I do agree that the reason his wife was not faithful was because of this dipiction. He was foolish and did not want to listen to a fellow friend's reasoning for marrying within his own age group. Due to his oblivion
