Sasquatch, who can weigh up to a whopping six hundred pounds, is covered in shaggy reddish-brown hair covering its entire body. Sasquatch has abnormally long muscular arms which, according to eyewitness reports, fall to just above its knees. Reports of Bigfoot describe it as having both female and male reproductive parts, which suggests it is possibly a primitive hominid. This of course means the creature has children the same way as humans do. Sasquatch is recognized to live far away from humans, deep within forests, so it can easily stay away from con...

My first reason why the northeast region is the best is it has many very important historical landmarks. For example it has the White House, the Washington Monument, and the Statue of Liberty. Best of all that's not them all! Once when I was little, I went to the Washington Monument and was so cool, there were artifacts, stories, cool information. It basically had everything. That is why I think we have the best landmarks scattered all over the Northeast

Before contact with Europeans, the Kickapoo lived in northwest Ohio and southern Michigan in the area between Lake Erie and Lake Michigan. Beginning in the 1640s, the Algonquin tribes in this region came under attack from the east, first by the Ottawa and Iroquian-speaking Neutrals, and then the Iroquois. By 1658 the Kickapoo had been forced west into southwest Wiscon...
Many Native American tribes described the Bigfoot as cannibals, mountain devils, kidnappers, rapists, and thieves. Most Native American tribes stayed out of the Bigfoot’s territory, avoiding contact if possible. Some tribes have interaction with the Bigfoot. One example of this was in California, where the Hoopa Indians actually camped with the Bigfoot. Unfortunately, the young Bigfoot males would occasionally rape a Hoopa woman, causing elders from both tribes to agree that a split was necessary.
Is Bigfoot really a mythical creature roaming the world? Nobody can answer that question, not if our scientist today. Bigfoot is a large, hairy, apelike creature resembling a yeti, there are found in Northwestern America. There is another name that Bigfoot is called and it’s Sasquatch. Some people believe in Bigfoot and try to find it. Others who think it’s a ridiculous idea to be searching for something that no one can find. The Comanche have most recently been found in the Southern Plains, which stretches from Nebraska to the northern part of Texas. They were fully in Texas by the 1700’s. It is believed that the Comanche derived from the Shoshone Indians, found in Wyoming. The language spoken by the Comanche is actually a form of Uto-Aztecan language that when compared to the Shoshone language, the two are very similar. The Comanche’s were great warriors and did not really indulge in religious practices too much nor did they use folktales or legends very often.

The fact that there might be a Bigfoot-like animal walking through our forests today sparks imagination, but has there been enough information that we can conclude that there is an animal that has not been identified? The name Sasquatch is derived from native names of the word "Sésquac", meaning "wild man" for a creature found in the coastal area of the Pacific Northwest (Lindemans). There are over sixty different Native American terms for the Sasquatch. The Cherokee call it Kecleh-Kudleh, meaning “Hairy Savage” (Franzoni, Glickman). Evidence for the existence of the Sasquatch is based on references in Indian legend and myth, in passages from journals kept by early travelers and in modern sightings (Colombo).
In Werner Herzog’s documentary film Grizzly Man, Herzog follows the expeditions and life of Timothy Treadwell, a man bent on conserving the lives of grizzly bears in Alaska The film constantly puts Timothy Threadwell’s extreme passion towards a life threatening animal and the real motive behind his wild and dangerous living style in debate with commentary voiceovers from the editor Werner Herzog. It gives you a realistic feeling towards who these people in the film really are, including Timothy and the people in various relations to him by using the footage that is usually cut off during the interviews. It also shows you some of the rarest shots of life interactions between humans and bears that could not be found elsewhere.
