Ultimately, temporary foreign workers and unemployment are two interweaving issues that Canadian businesses and government officials will have to deal with as the economy seeks to be restarted and refreshed. Though TFWs do not have a strong effect on unemployment—due to their need for unappealing jobs in inaccessible locations—they still spring open a debate on what the government should do in regards to foreign workers and immigrants, how to ensure that Canadians are always considered first for jobs, and what sort of “skills gap” really exists in the country and how it can be dealt with. Canada’s wide and vast geography and numerous natural resources are both a blessing and a curse for its economy and employment. If politicians and business leaders can effectively manage both, it will make the country all the better.
One of the biggest factors for immigration is Canada’s economy. Skilled worker immigrants or the Economic class

vision of the settlement process. The settlement journey for immigrants is one that lasts a lifetime and extends into the second generation, and our public policy response must accept this fundamental reality. The Canadian Citizenship and Immigration has put in place some services for the newcomers to Canada like Newcomer Children and Youth in the Schools. An example of the immediate relevance and practical applicability of the notion of social inclusion is the issue of Access to Trades and Professions (ATP). This has been found to be limiting
The Government of Canada will support all of Canada’s cultures and allow resources to the immigrants who have demonstrated a desire and effort to maintain their own culture and identity.

Canada has continuously served as a home to immigrants and refugees from decade to decade harbouring people from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The first set of immigrants to settle in the country came from Britain, the United States and from other nationalities mostly including immigrants from Europe who were either desperate to escape from religious or political turmoil or were simply attracted to Canada’s economic promise. Soon after the Canadian confederation in 1867, immigrants from Irish and Chinese backgrounds who occupied most of the country were used as workers and the demand for labourers to develop the country increased rapidly as more Chinese descents were imported to build the Canadian Pacific Railway. Although, Canada opened its doors to immigrants, but the country also intended to gain human resources for work in the farms, in the forests, factories and mines but not everyone was equally welcomed in Canada.
In conclusion, Canada has come a long way in promoting the integration of immigrants socially. The country is making progress integrating immigrants economically, and much needs to be done before the same can be said politically. What is certain, is that the immigrant’s path of integration may be a slow process, and the Canadian government has been slow to propel it… but the future looks bright, and Canada is on the right track.
Canada is a very big country where many immigrants want to achieve their goals and have a good life. According to government statistics (October 2013) population in Canada is 35,295,770 and is still increasing. Every year more people from every country in the world are moving to Canada to settle down, find new job, and start perfect life. It is very hard to behave like born and raised as Canadians for people from different countries, cultures and with different backgrounds. Canadian government is supporting newcomers trough many trainings and courses, but this is immigrants responsibility to be prepared for new circumstances, they have to do a lot of job themselves just to feel safe and secure in new place and life. Immigrants should considered few very important things before they will make their decision about changing place and life style. While they can be great specialist in their field, emigrants have to learn about Canadian culture, Canadian workplace rules, and what’s most important they have to adopt this knowledge to their new life.
These core values are the underlying current of political variation. Alberta’s “political culture contains three closely related strains: populism, conservatism, and Western alienation”, these three strains account for the rise and resilience of a right wing party (Welsey 2011, pg 18). With equalization in place, it conveys the sense that Alberta is committing more resources into the development of the country through keeping other provinces financially sound. This policy has caused a lot of resentment within the province. It stems back to the notion of taxation without representation. Alberta is footing the bills for other parts of Canada, and Ottawa are rewarding central Canada as opposed to Alberta. As well as not benefitting the economy of Alberta, the federal government is expecting them to assist the provinces that the federal government is benefitting. Thus, Alberta has demanded for a lot of different protectionist policies in regards to this sentiment, as the Alberta government is sought to be protecting its interest against the federal government and international business competition. Saskatchewan is dedicated to the “communitarianism and civic engagement… sense of political and geographical isolation” (Welsey 2011, pg 20). Saskatchewan from the beginning was economically isolated, as the population was predominantly farmers. As most of them are farmers he economic policy enacted would heed little results,
We are a small family from southern part of India, looking forward to migrate to Canada under the Express Entry stream. We are a three-member family consisting of myself Appala, my caring wife Lavanya, and our loving daughter Saranya. We have plenty of reasons to choose to settle in Nova Scotia permanently and the one that topped the list is – it is really a great place to raise our kid. I was an entrepreneur working with local municipalities as a public works contractor, ended up with huge losses due to the delayed payments and had to wind up the business. Subsequently, I attended Southampton Solent University in England and completed my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
It does not require the applicant to have previous experience in studying or working in Canada. But one must have professional experience in one of the 24 selected professional occupations. Provincial Nominee Program – it is the provincial program, each province has its own system of new immigrants selection. The first thing for any employer to ask is why they’re going to Saskatchewan. Although the province has a reputation as being exceedingly rural, flat, and nothing but prairie, the truth is Saskatchewan has become something of a hotspot for several different industries.
