“A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life”. In the prologue Shakespeare gave us a hint that the two lovers will take their life to death because of the misadventures in their relationship and life. Because of the feud between their families, they faced all the responsibilities and problems but still at the end they both died. But Romeo did all the sacrifices just to make their love successful. 4
It is just a dance at the Capulet’s party, and their love to each other begun. Mercutio told Romeo that they need to go to the Capulet’s party and forget Rosaline. As the party is going he saw a beautiful girl and had a chance to dance her. At the hallway of the Capulet’s house, they were expressing each other’s love. “ For saints have hands that pilgrims’ hands do touch, and palm to palm is holy palmer’s kiss” which means that by having a palm to palm they already kissed. And as the days passed with love, Romeo decided to marry Juliet. As the exchanging of vows, Romeo said “Ah, Juliet, if the measure of the joy be heaped like mine,

and that thy skill be more” meaning Romeo’s happiness is only Juliet and no one can replace her. 7 Romeo has been banished in Verona by the order of the Prince.
Because Tybalt always wants a fight, he saw Mercutio and had a duel with him which ended Mercutio to die. Romeo got mad at Tybalt because Mercutio is his best friend. The two of them had a duel too but at the end of their fight Romeo killed Tybalt and said “O, I am fortune’s fool” because he just did it to give a justice for his best friend and did not mind it that it will lead to Tybalt’s death. Romeo ran towards to Friar Laurence and told what happened he said “ Tis torture, and not mercy” meaning he just did it because he just want a justice for his best friend who did nothing to Tybalt and just had a duel and ended up killing his best friend. Then Friar Laurence told him to go to Mantua but at first Romeo refuses it and he said that he rather to die that to be far with Juliet. But then he accepted it and went to Juliet and stay his night with her before he went to Mantua.
7 Because of the misadventures and misconception the two star-crossed lovers take their lives at the end. As being banished in Verona, Romeo spent his night with his love. But they promised to the nurse that before the sun will rise he will descend to Juliet’s room. “Farewell, farewell! One kiss, and I’ll descend” Romeo’s last words to Juliet before he will go to Mantua. And we all know that Friar Laurence has a plan and when the days passed Romeo still did not get a news from Friar until Balthasar ran to Romeo and told that Juliet is already dead. So Romeo ran to an apothecary and bought a poison and go to Juliet’s tomb. As Romeo arrives at her tomb he said to Juliet “
Romeo is in love with Rosaline at the very beginning of the story and has just found out that she has taken the vow of chastity. Meanwhile Lord Capulet has given County Paris Juliet’s hand in marriage if he can wait until she is sixteen. The Capulets have a party so that Juliet and the Count can meet and he can then woo her. When Romeo and Juliet first meet they are at the Capulet party, which Romeo sneaks into. They fall in love at first sight without realizing that they are enemies. Fate brings them together and it is fate that they are enemies.
Romeo senses tensions are high with Tybalt, so he states, “I do protest I never injured thee but love thee better than thou canst devise.” (Lines 65-66 Act Three, Scene One). Romeo is trying to diffuse the situation because he realizes that Tybalt is his love's cousin. Mercutio is surprised by Romeo’s behavior, so he decides to fight Tybalt himself. Mercutio’s decision to fight Tybalt leads to his own death. Romeo is angered by the death of Mercutio and states, “Now, Tybalt, take the “villain" back again/ That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio’s soul.” (Lines 123-124 of Act Three, Scene One). Romeo is indicating that Tybalt is the villain now, because he slayed Mercutio. Romeo forgets about his attempt to befriend the Capulets and slays Tybalt. Romeo, murderer of Tybalt, solely focuses on Juliet and states “Ha, banishment? Be merciful, say “death"/For exile hath more terror in his look.” (Lines 12-13 of Act Three, Scene Three). Romeo does not care about Tybalt’s life, but only cares for the way it affects his relationship with Juliet. Romeo’s mother dies out of grief because of his banishment. Romeo’s recklessness in loving Juliet has led to the death of three
The reader realizes this when the prologue states, “Two households, both alike in dignity/ In fair Verona, where we lay our scene, / From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,/ Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean./ From forth the fatal loins of these two foes/ A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life” (I 1-6). This translates to say two families have been rivals for many years. Romeo and Juliet are two from separate rivaling families that fall in love. The reader can acknowledge that these two individuals meet one another due to fate. However, they know that because of their parents’ hatred of each other, they can never be together. “My only love sprung from my only hate!/ Too early seen unknown, and known too late!/ Prodigious birth of love it is to me,/ That I must love a loathed enemy” (I v138-140). A decision is made that the only way to be happy is to take their lives. As soon as the play begins, the audience can foresee a tragic ending because of the language used.
Romeo fights and kills Tybalt just because Tybalt slays Mercutio, despite knowing the consequence of fighting -death- he still takes it upon himself as a way to seek repentance for Mercutio’s death. He is able to restrain himself before the death of Mercutio but after his death Romeo falls to his impulsiveness and fights Tybalt. After killing Tybalt and getting banishment instead of a death sentence, Romeo refuses to look on the bright side and goes to Friar Lawrence where he says “Ha, banishment! Be merciful, say ‘death’.” (Act 3, Scene 3 line 12), this shows that he deems life without Juliet life not worth living. He then continues weep then decides to take his own life, the Friar stopped him but had Romeo stopped being so quick to make decisions he would have realised banishment is much better than death and would be rejoicing instead of weeping. Romeo hears about Juliet's “death” from his servant Balthasar he instantly decides to kill himself, he doesn't mourn his loss or even cry, he simply buys poison, rides to Verona and kills himself. Had he spoken to anyone and taken any advice he would realize that suicide is not the answer but he had his mind made in a minute, he wanted to be dead with his wife. Romeo impulsiveness to make decisions is a very important characteristic for him to have and for the rest of the
The friar wanted to unite the two families and he sees this marriage as a way to end the "ancient grudge". "For this alliance may so happy prove, to turn your households' rancour to pure love. " The audience are also aware that Tybalt had issued a challenge to Romeo, unknown to Romeo, because he hadn't returned home after the ball. Tybalt, a Capulet, had seen Romeo at the feast and vowed to take revenge at this insult to his family pride. Mercutio and Benvolio fear for Romeo's life because he is no match for Tybalt, an experienced swordsman.
After catching Romeo at a party he was not supposed to be at, Tybalt had it out for Romeo. Just after Romeo and Juliet’s wedding, Tybalt comes looking for him wanting to fight. Romeo does not want to fight because he now loves Tybalt since he is family to him, but neither Tybalt or anyone else knows this reason. Quickly, Mercutio steps in and tells Tybalt that he will fight him in honour of Romeo. Sadly, this led to the death of Mercutio.
In the very opening of the play the chorus is singing about Romeo and Juliet, and predicts their life together as having a star-crossed conclusion. By already knowing from the beginning that their life has an ill-fated conclusion, we can see how their choices brought them to their death. Romeo and Juliet could see that their life together was not going the way they wanted, because Romeo and Juliet wanted to marry each other but there were many barriers between them. Both Romeo and Juliet had many failed attempts in their efforts to trick fate out of what was ultimately going to happen to them both. Hold! Get you gone, be strong and prosperous in this resolve. I’ll send a friar with speed to Mantua, with my letters to thy lord. (IV, i, 122-124)

Juliet, rather than being upset by Tybalt’s death, sobbed for Romeo, who was banished for the murder. The misunderstandings regarding Juliet’s grief led to a marriage she felt she could only escape by faking her own death. While Tybalt was not immediately involved in Juliet’s ‘death’, he played such a major role in starting the events that would ultimately lead to it that he must be deemed partly responsible.

This is a legal issue because Tybalt was going to be treated to the death penalty anyway so Romeo killing him was just like giving him the death penalty. This death is a lot different than the others because his was a legal issue and he deserved to die, the other deaths in the play like Romeo, Juliet and Mercutio decided to die for a family member that they love.
