Recommended: Role of Ronald Reagan in cold war

The person I chose to be person of the year is Ronald Reagan. This man was not only our 40th president of the United States, but he was a great influence on the soviet union. As Reagan would like to say ‘’ The Soviet Union is the focus of evil in the modern world.’’

When I came to do my research on Ronal Regan I found a tremendous amount of quotes by him like the one above, and papers upon papers about how he enforced the foreign policy. This not only helped us interact with other countries, but made it possible for other countries to agree with us on certain plans.
