Have you ever gone against your parents rules? There have been times in my life that I didn’t listen to my parents. For example, one time I invited some friends over for the night and we were really bored so we decided to sneak out and go meet up with some other friends of ours. Even though my mom said don’t leave the house we decided to anyway. We got home around 3:00am and my mom woke up when we were coming inside, she was very disappointed that we didn’t listen to her. Not only did I make a bad decision, but in the play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Friar Laurance also made bad decisions. There was a feud between two families the Capulets and the Montagues. The feud went on for years, then it got to the point that they were sword fighting each other trying to kill one another. The fight did not need to go that far, but it did and people ended up dying. A servant approached Romeo on the streets of Verona asking him to read an invitation to the party at the Capulet's house. “God gi’ god-den. I pray, sir, can you read?” SERVANT (1,2,13). Romeo read the servant the letter.

After reading the invite Romeo made the decision to go to the party even though he wasn’t invited. He snuck into the party and nobody knew who he was because everyone had masks on. Juliet recognized Romeo and she could tell he was the guy for her at that given point.
